Crystallia woke up to the light coming in her windows, it was mid morning. She sighed not ready for the day to come, but started getting ready anyway.

Once she was showered her hand maids came in to take over they quickly and efficiently did her hair make-up and dress. In all it took an hour or so to become an unwilling bride to be. Her eyes teared up as she looked in the mirror.
"This isn't at all what I wanted of my life... I wanted a mate, kids, a family..." She looked at her dress as she spoke. "Instead I get this... Just to be used as a bargaining chip for my kingdom. Now I might never be a mother or loving mate.." Her tears overflowed as she said it. Her hand maiden quickly dried her tears and checked her makeup.
"No matter what you feel inside you must not show it ma'am. For today you will be remembered as the queen that saved us all, be proud of that ma'am" the maiden said. Crystallia nodded and lifted her head proudly.
"Your right my duty must come first. For my people I will show no fear." Crystallia said with her head raised. She was ready, after all she had a duty to her realm first. At this point all she could hope is she never met the princess out on the battlefield.

It was noon by the time Crystallia and her realm arrived to the Sunset realm, run by Aphrodite, goddess of love. Aphrodite herself would officiate the service.

Crystallia tried desperately to see her bride to be to size her up, but she was ushered to a doorway off the alter before she could see. Now she had no choice but to wait for her cue to come out.

Fifteen minutes later the music started up and Crystallia marched out led by her father, her vail blocking her view. So she relied on her fathers lead untill they reached the alter. Where she was spun to face her bride to be. Her veil remaining down though. The vows were a blur as she struggled to catch a glimpse of her soon to be wife. All too soon she was at the I do's. To which she nodded and said "I do". Her soon to be wife agreed as well. Her vail lifted and she was finally clear.

Kayla Amarillo was tall and thin white and gold wings hung at her back contrasting starkly agenst her bright red hip length hair, with curls for days. Her eyes shown a bright green. They were set perfectly in her round face. Truth be told Crystallia found her beautiful, but she gasped, not because her looks but because she has seen her in battle. One of the few times she was bested at that, Crystallia now was even more worried. Her father's words rang in her head though putting her more at ease.

"You must kiss the bride" Aphrodite said jarring Crystallia from her thoughts. She looked at Kayla unsure of what to do. Kayla made the first move leaning forward, so Crystallia followed suit, their lips meeting briefly. Thats all it took though an electric spark flashed between them making both jump. "Now the spell linking you both is complete, what one feels you both will feel." Aphrodite said. Crystallia thought to herself she should have known.

Suddenly Crystallia found herself ushered to a carriage with Kayla. The ride went on for hours it seemed. An awkward silence filled the ride. Kayla ended up being the one to break it.
"No hard feelings about the battlefield right?" Kayla asked.
"Uh no I guess not... Hey did you know this was going to happen?" Crystallia asked back.
"Actually no it was just kinda sprung on me about a week ago when they fitted me for the dress" Kayla replied. "You?"
"Same I only found out after one of your brothers came to meet with my father" Crystallia said back, making Kayla nod.
      "What happens now?" Crystallia asked.
"Well from what I was told by my father Zeus we are being taken to my castle to, well, finalize the wedding" Kayla stated blushing slightly. Crystallia's face flushed slightly. She was not ready for this, but the carriage stopped anyway. They were here.
