-Tom's POV-

I walk down the stairs telling my mum I'm coming.
"God I can't even pee in peace" I tease and I introduce myself to the woman who's around my mothers age chuckling as she introduced herself before pointing to her daughter.
"That is Y/N she's a pain in the ass but you'll get used to her" she teased her daughter who was putting everything down helping with the table. Fuck! I curse to myself I was meant to do that. Oh I'm so getting in trouble I huff softly.

"Hi Y/N I'm Tom" I say softly as she let out a soft giggle. I remember that giggle and I instantly try not to blush. What a small world. I thought.
"Not really the world is huge" she smiles softly teasing me then introduces herself properly.

I was about to say something until willow attacks her causing me to panic. I thought I would hear screams but instead was shocked as I heard her laugh. I blush her laugh was adorable.
"Willow no" my mum says picking up Y/N who straightened out her dress.

"'Mrs Anstey I promise it's not trouble. She's adorable" she smiles. I was actually standing there like an idiot until my older brother Jonathan pushed my shoulders gently.
"Someone's crushing" he teases into my ear and I frown shaking my head to shut him up but he knew already. You see when I fall. I fall hard but it's hard to open up that's why all my relationships don't work out right the way I want them too. Especially after my past relationship. I was cheated on for 8 years. I felt like such a fool.

-during dining-

I was sat opposite her and I was glad. She looked so stunning. She was stunning but Im also realistic and I know I can't rush anything but also what if this is just a crush? I've had crushes before and they end in a few days , weeks or months so I pushed back those thoughts.

"Tom er Mrs Anstey is asking you something" she says softly with a soft smile as I chuckle. I love how much she respected my mum. She didn't call her Sharon even when mum was constantly asking her too.

"No mum I'm good. Actually I took a break from all the acting for a few months. I miss home" I say honestly and Y/N softly spoke up.
"You have great talent but may I ask what sort of roles do you enjoy playing the most or want to do the most?" She asks softly and my heart jumps a little. The way she said that. Most people ask that question but it was like she cared she actually cared and it wasn't just an interview thing. Well it actually wasn't.
"Thank you" I smile " I enjoy playing characters that are challenging for me. The best characters to play are the characters you would never see yourself playing. Mum tells me you're waiting for a daycare job. That takes patience. Have you always done that?" I ask softly making conversation everyone else engaged in their own.

"I've done it pretty much since I was 18 but I also work with pre teens. Oh and I know you're wondering how old I am" she teases giggling "I'm 21" she smiles softly. I felt a little disappointed what if we hit it off too good and she doesn't like dating older men.

My mum realised my look and spoke up "honey what's going on with you and Luke was it?"
"Ugh his a jerk" she pouts. It was so cute I felt like I was melting.
"I thought older men are meant to be mature you know? But god was he way more immature than I thought but I know I know don't put them all in one bracket" she giggles.

"Cant believe you dated him for a year and he was like what 30?" My brother Jonathan says. My eyes lit up so she doesn't mind dating older men.
"Like I always say doesn't matter what age as long as it's legal." She asks "Maturity is a big factor" she spoke softly and Ashley my other brother kicked me under the table and I flinched slightly not expecting it.

The rest of the dinner was filled with everyone chatting and having a good time that was until my mum decided to embarrass everyone by bringing out the Karaoke machine.
