Chapter 4

You woke up to the sound of Harry's voice. Your eyes opened slowly you looked up Harry. His eyes twinkled.

"Morning" He laughed

"Did I fall asleep?" You asked

"Yeah you did you looked so peaceful I didn't want to wake you." He said

You looked at the clock it was 8:15am

"We're late to breakfast!" You said

You both rushed out of the common room, you pushed open the doors open to the great hall to see Hermione and Ron sitting and eating.

"Harry!"  Hermione and Ron said

Hermione gave him a hug

"Where have you been?! Same with you y/n"

"Long story." You both said

You sat next to Hermione

"I've already got my dress for the Yule ball I'm so excited!" Hermione said smiling

"Has Ron asked you yet? I mean come on it's pretty obvious that you to like eachother." You said smirking

"Shh he's right there y/n!" She blushed nudging my arm.

"What'd you say?" Ron asked stuffing his face with chicken.

"Oh just about the Yule ball and how you should ask-" You said with Hermione cutting you off

"A-ask Harry who's he taking!" Hermione blurted out trying to stop you from finishing your sentence

"Well I was thinking about asking Cho" Harry said

You looked down in disappointment.

"But I did have someone else in mind" Harry smiled and glanced over at you.

You blushed and looked down at your feet. Breakfast came to a slow end. You were walking to your first class Which was potions with professor Snape, you and Ron had that class together.

"Y/n! Y/n wait up" you heard Harry calling your name.

You stopped to turn around to Harry

"Hey what's up?" You asked

"Oh well I was wondering, you know the Yule ball is coming up and well-" he said getting cut off by Oliver

"Harry come on I need to talk to you about quidditch! Oh sorry y/n it's an emergency!" He said running off with Harry.

Ugh it was killing you was Harry going to ask you to the ball?
