Cottagecore has kinda blown up n the pictures kinda speak for themselves but I'll break it down a little anyway Cottagecore is a fantasy of living in a cottage in a secluded place, like a forest or a sea It's a pretty much a daydream of living in the present and embracing nature's beauty A daydream of being self sustaining, having some kind of farm animal(s), your own little garden, and a cozy little cottage This is another very anti capitalist kinda thing If you love capitalism this is not for you lmao This is a very Eurocentric kinda aesthetic but you can definitely find environments like these and live a cottagecore lifestyle outside of Europe The main idea of cottagecore is being close with nature, living in the present, and treating your environment with love and respect
