I ran through the snowy streets of New York. It was already dark and really cold.

I looked for the pizza shop, my friend Calum described me.

I don't live here long, about 15 hours and 38 minutes.

I moved here because of my new job as an architect. Although I am only 19, but I've always been a natural talent in drawing area.

I just went over a bridge.

I looked at the water, on my right side and smiled. It looked really nice.

I heard a faint meow and looked around confused.
I ripped my eyes frightened when I saw a approximately 16-year-old boy who put a cat, she was on the scaffolding, to rescue. He stood on the icy bridge site.

I immediately ran to him.

"Hey you, you could hurt yourself come down here, please," I pleaded.

The boy was frightened, but he could still hold firmly to the ground. He looked at me with wide opened eyes.

They were green brown, beautiful. He had curly hair, what looked cute. I held out my hand, but he shook his head.

"Hey ... please. Come on down here," I said worriedly.

He shook his head wildly and climbed higher. "Oh God, stop! And come down here," I almost screamed.

He did not even think and went on. He had finally gotten the cat and grabbed her gently in his backpack.

He wanted to back down and went with his right foot on one of the rods, that broke and he fell down.

I screamed and grabbed his hand immediately, I breathed a sigh of relief and tried not to give attention to the water, which was really deep, and pulled him gently back up. He was fortunately lightly.

When he was safely back on the bridge, I ran my hand through my hair and looked at the smaller boy.

He looked at me with wide opened eyes and just ran away. I looked at him confused .

I saved his life, but he did not even say 'thank you'.

I took a deep breath and called Calum because I could not think straight right now. "Hey Lukey, where are you? Michael is already here," he said worriedly.

"I-I ... uh, maybe you can pick me up?" I asked, still under shock.

"What happened? Yeah, we're on the way. Where are you?"

"I'll tell you. Uh, on any bridge. It is small."

"Okay, I know where that is, we'll be there in 5 minutes."

I held on to the railing and looked down. If I had not been here, he would be there now fallen in and drowned or froze to death.

I am grateful, Calum that he persuaded me, and I am grateful for my tardiness.

"Hy pal, what are you doing?" Michael asked.

"Ohh Hey, uh nothing," I said and got in.

"What happened? You look like shit," Cal said worriedly.

"I'll tell you in a moment okay? I need time to think."

Oh, Calum and Michael are my best friends. Calum is 19 and Michael is 20 years old, both work in the same company as me, as architects.

At that time we met in Sydney when we were children, with 17 and 18 are both came to study here and now they are architects.

I studied in Sydney and now I get here. They are both really talented, which is why they are so young architects.

Arrived in the pizzeria we ordered the pizzas.

I told them what happened and they looked at me shocked with wide opened mouths.

"And you're saying he would be dead now, because of a cat, if you had not been there?" Calum satisfied.

I nodded.

"Crazy. I had also rescued the cat, but that is .. crazy," Michael said.

I nodded again.

"And did he say anything?" Michael asked.

"No. He was odd, there he is!"
