Chapter 11

Yunlan has shared this good news to everyone in the hospital. All were so happy for Wei and Yunlan on the decision of getting married. The most happy were Wei's parents who were able to see their son walking down the aisle. They had lost hope to see their son getting married. All the friends and family were informed about their marriage, and all were thrilled to hear it.

But due to Wei's poor health condition the wedding could not be held outside. But Yunlan made the best preparation for his and Wei's wedding. The corridor of their floor was decorated beautifully, the grooms would walk down the aisle through the corridor which will lead to a sitting area. The room was decorated with white and pink flowers and a stage was installed. A pastor was called in to read the vows and give the blessings.

Yunlan also prepared a suit for Wei and himself. As per the custom he did not get to see his groom before the wedding. Wei's parents and friends handled everything on getting him ready for his big day.

The day had finally come and Wei was getting ready with the help of his friends and family. Yunlan was patiently waiting for his beautiful groom at the aisle. Other staffs and patients attended their wedding as a guests. Since Wei is unable to walk he was seated in a wheelchair and was pushed along the corridor. His father decided to take the wheels and walk his son down the aisle.

The moment was beautiful for Yunlan. He could see his groom dressed in white suit seated in a wheelchair and had the biggest smile on his face. Soon he took hold of his grooms arm and kneeled down in front of him. He gestured the pastor to continue his blessings as he stared at Wei.

"Do I look good?"

"You are beautiful my Wei"

"Even without any hair?"

"You are the most beautiful angel existing in this world to me. I would not want anything else from jesus. You walking down the aisle towards me and is ready to get binded to me for the rest of your life is the best gift in my life"

"Thank you Yunlan....for everything you gave me. Thank you for never letting go off my hand. Thank you for taking care of me and thank you for agreeing to marry me. I have fulfilled all the wish I dreamt off"

Just then we hear the pastor finishing his vows. "From this moment I announce you both as Husbands. You may kiss your groom"

That was our queue and Yunlan leaned down capturing my lips as I listen to roar of encouragements and shouts of joy behind me. As we parted all were giving a big round of applause and Yunlan never let go of my hand.

But suddenly I felt an uneasy feeling in my body and I started coughing badly. All went completely quiet and started murmuring. My friends and family gathered around me and Yunlan was already rubbing my back to calm me down. Seeing all the worried faces made me laugh and all let out a sigh of relief.

"Yunlan..."

"Yes, Wei?"

"I have one more request"

"Yes? What is it?"

"Can you take me to the top of the building I want to see stars"

"Sure Wei....I will take you there"

Yunlan looks at others "Thank you all for joining us on such a important day for me. Thank you all for your blessings"

Yunlan bows deeply towards the guests and Wei's parents "Thank you for agreeing to give your son to me"

Wei's dad pats Yunlan on his shoulder "Take good care of our son"

They both smile at each other before Yunlan bends towards me. One hand supporting my back and the other under my bent knees. He adjusts my weight and lifts me in his arms.
