Jimin, who was a trained dancer, first auditioned in Busan, Korea. After he passed that audition, he moved to Seoul to become a trainee. He started as a trainee around mid-2012 and was 16 at the time, which made him the BTS member with the shortest amount of time as a trainee at Big Hit Entertainment.
