Tony looked up from his plate. The Avengers were having a dinner together. Thor, Steve, Bruce, Clint, Nat, Peter, Stephen and even Loki. It was a nice Friday evening, and Tony had cooked some meat. They were all eating in peace. Stephen ate with a proud face. He slowly stabbed the pieces with his fork and moved them to his mouth. This made Peter laugh.
Tony's POV
I looked at Stephen. He looked cute eating there. Aww... Hold on. I shouldn't be thinking about him. I think Peter sensed it. He looked at me and smiled meaningfully. I turned red. After the dinner we sat down on the couch all together.
''How bout we play some good ol' truth or dare?'' Thor asked. Clint nodded and Peter looked excited. Stephen smiled shyly. Steve and Bruce looked at Thor in shock while Nat and Loki rolled their eyes. ''Good idea!'' I said. ''Who's starting?'' Peter's hand went straight up. ''Me! Truth or dare, mister Laufeyson?'' Loki sighed: ''Truuuuuth.'' Peter giggled. ''I know this is lame, sir, but who do you like?'' Loki blushed a little. Thor looked at Loki and told him to hurry. ''Um... when we went to Sakaar...'' he started but turned bright pink, ''there was this leader...'' Thor busted out laughing. Loki hid his face in his hands while Thor still laughed. Suddenly, Stephen raised his hand for silence. ''Thor, it's no reason to laugh. Everyone can like who they want.'' Then he let his hand down and took the proud face again. Thor looked really sorry and patted Loki in the back. ''Apologies, brother'', he said quietly. Loki looked up, still miserable. Peter looked shocked.
"Ight, who's next..." Thor said quietly. "Me!" Loki said. "Revenge for the kid... on somebody else. Stark, truth or dare?" I rolled my eyes and said truth. "Who do you like?" he said, with a smirk on his face. I turned slightly pink. "St... no one." Loki looked curious and Peter smirked also. When I had nearly said Stephen's name, he had noticed it. No one else saw, but I'm sure Stephen noticed. His eyes lit up a little bit and I saw the look in his eyes. What if I had said his name? Would he be mad? Happy? Confused? And what would the others say, especially Peter?
After a few rounds, Steve saying 'language' three times, and Bruce nearly turning big and green, we decided to stop.
I went upstairs to one of my many living rooms. This one was 'private'. Nobody knew about it, so I get to have peace. I closed the door and sat down on the couch, doing nothing, just sitting, and thinking. Suddenly, a big portal opened up in front of me. "St-Stephen?'' I mumbled. I saw a blue suit, a brown belt, and a big medallion with the time stone. It was indeed Stephen. "Hello, Anthony", he said. "Before you ask, I know about this room." I couldn't speak. Why would Stephen be here? What does he want? "W-what do you want?" I managed to say. Stephen looked at me with his usual proud face. I felt myself turning bright pink and decided not to look at Stephen. He chuckled a bit and sat next to me.
"I want knowledge, Anthony, the truth. Will you promise to tell me the truth?" I was so confused that I nodded slightly. "I'll take that as a yes", Stephen said and cleared his throat. He looked at me, and I couldn't help but look at him. "What did you say, during Loki's question in the truth or dare?" Damn. I knew tis question was coming ahead. "I- um..." "The truth, Anthony", Stephen said strongly. "I- nearly said Stephen..." I turned more pink, if that's even possible. Stephen's face didn't change. I moved a bit more away from him, realizing what I just said. "Anthony", Stephen said. "I'm not mad." I started to feel tears on my cheeks. Stephen didn't say anything, just moved closer and wiped my tears away with his thumb. "Do you like me, Anthony?" he whispered pulling me closer. "I do", I whispered. Stephen smiled. "I like you too, Stark."
