Diagon Alley

i woke up today with the smell of French toast in my house.

Y/m- y/n! Wake up! we have to go to diagon alley!

You wake up with excitement in your eyes and you jump out of bed. You put on a sweater and some pants and walk downstairs.

Y/n- Hey mom can I go to Rons real quick to see if he wants to go to diagon alley with me today?

Y/m- sure honey don't say the wrong name using that loom powder okay

You run to the fireplace and grab some loom power and shout the cottage

You are now in Rons house and you dont see anyone, you thought that they all might have been asleep. You walk into the kitchen and see Ron reading a list and stuffing his face with sausages. You walk up behind him and look around to see no one.

Y/n- EXPELLIARMUS!

then Rons sausage went flying in the air and he turns around.

R- y/n!

He gets up and hugs you

Y/n- hey wanna go to diagon alley with me today?

R- yeah of course!

Ron and I have been best friends since I can remember. He has never left my side and now we get to go to school together. This is my first year at Hogwarts but Rons second year. we are the same age though, its just I never got my letter the first year.

y/n- come on lets go to my house to tell my mom we are going!

R- okay!

you guys go one at a time back into the fireplace and take the loom powder and you both were in your house now.

y/m- gosh! I hate that thing

my mom is a retired witch and she married a wizard, I am pure blood.

y/n- we are going to go to diagon alley okay

y/m- okay be careful anything could happen even though you are safe. you need your list and your key for the vault your father left you.

oh yeah. my father died a while ago, he use to teach at Hogwarts and died fighting something I guess. I was there apparently but I don't remember a thing, I was in the hospital for a month.

y/n- okay mom! come on Ron lets go!

you guys go back into the fireplace and go to diagon alley

R- did I ever tell you about my friend Harry?

y/n- I thought I was your only friend

you laugh and Ron stops

R- excuse you! but anyway once we were trying to come here and he said digonily and went to a dark alley but we found him in time.

y/n- in time..?

R- yeah that alley is filled with thugs and bad people according to my dad.

you just keep walking. you got all your books and then went to get a wand.

Wand keeper- ahh mrs.black welcome I have been expecting you

y/n- you have..?

Wand keeper- yes yes! wow you look so much like your father

you smile

Y/n- so do I just pick one or..?

Wand keeper- no no! the wand chooses you

he went and took a box off the wall and handed it to me

Wand Keeper- go one try something

you wave the wand and the lamp shattered

Wand Keeper- nope not that one.

he goes back and grabs another one and stood still for a minute.

Wand Keeper- try this one

you took the wand in your hand and a gust of wind and light came out of no where.

y/n- wow!

Wand Keeper- wow indeed, you know this wand had a brother, this wand was made with the same material as your dads.

y/n- my dad had the same wand?

the wand keeper was nodding his head.

after you get your wand you see Ron outside with a couple of people.

y/n- im going to get a pet apparently but ill see you in a minute

you walk away

HG- who was that Ron?

H- is that y/n?

R- yeah it is her first year so I'm here with her and then I saw you guys. she just got her wand and now she is going to chose a pet.

H- hm and your not going to go help her..? that's a lot to carry

R- you might be right

H- ill go

harry walked over to the store and see's you walking around looking at the animals there.

you were looking at the owls because you thought they were so cute. you stopped and looked at this beautiful white one, you looked at the sales person in the store and payed for your owl.

H-hey are you y/n?

y/n- who is asking?

H- sorry im Harry Rons friend

y/n- oh I heard about you today.

H- anyway do you need help?

Y/n- oh yes thank you

you just handed him a few books. you walk back out to ron and a girl.

y/n- im ready are you?

R- yeah lets get the train.
