They all entered the entrance hall and waited for Professor McGonagall to make an announcement.
" Now before you can take your seat you must sorted into your houses. There are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Stay in line and follow me!" ordered McGonagall
The first years followed her into the great hall. The great hall was big and had four long tables which where filled with students. At the front of the hall was a long table for the teachers.
"I will call your name and you will sit on this stool to be sorted into your house. Afterwards make your way to your house table."Said Professor McGonagall with a loud but clear voice.
Lee and the twins got sorted into Gryffindor. Athena heard her name being called and walked up to the stool.
The sorting hat took about 3 seconds before screaming "Gryffindor!"
Athena felt relieved and walked to the Gryffindor table and sat next to Fred and George.
The feast was amazing it was better than her mothers cooking and that was saying a lot. Her mother owned her own restaurant and was an amazing cook. Athena even helps with the desserts sometimes. Just thinking about it made Athena a little homesick.
After the feast was over she decided to go back to her dorm for the night. As she was leaving the great hall Fred and George caught up to her and decided to walk back with her. When she got to her dorm she noticed that her trunk was at the foot of a bed and guessed that it was her bed for the year.
A few minutes later a group of girls walked in and one of them introduced themselves.
"Hi! My name's Angelina Johnson. And you are?" she asked.
"Hello. I'm Athena Willis" she stated
The two girls talked for a while and then they decided to go to sleep. Athena fell asleep almost as soon as she lay her head on the pillow.
( Some of the things in my story might not add up to the real Harry Potter series but I hope that it doesn't bother you)
