Just as the past days of the last few weeks. (f/n) was in her old car in a specific street, with coffee in one hand while her eyes analyzed any activity around. (y/n) has been on this case for months now. Dedicating all her sweet time for two purposes. One, she wants to prove herself worthy of a detective's job that she always dreamed about. Two, it was for the sake of the people that were hurt, especially a certain redhead dear to her heart that had a very important role of the person (y/n) had become.

He thought her how to fight for herself, and how to speak her mind careless of what any soul would think about it and without the worry of any judgmental looks.

Keeping her eyes as sharp as a cheetah would with its prey, she suddenly noticed a mysterious person with a black hoodie and glasses. And her suspicion was proved right at the sight of his burn scars. It was him. The same person she has been inspecting for days.

The mysterious person caused many attacks and murders with not much evidence and was known as Dabi in these dangerous streets. she clenched the car handle while patiently waiting for the right moment to open the door. (f/n)'s eyes widened in surprise when she noticed the black-clothed criminal leaping, which indicated an injury. That gave her more than enough reason to consider this a perfect moment. And so she silently spun the handle and carefully got out of her old car.

Luck seemed to be by my side today, maybe it's my mother's blessing or his resting wish, she thought when he made a turn in a dark ally. It might seem to be in her disadvantage to face someone as dangerous as Dabi on her own in a deserted dark ally, where no cries of help would reach any good soul. But being blessed with the power of canceling any kind of quirk with a single touch may have changed the case.

And so she let the courage her old friend implanted in her carefully guide her way to her goal. Capturing the criminal, to save those in need. the (h/c) haired girl cautiously took a step forward, getting to the ally, She peeked to be met with the sight of Dabi still leaping through his steps. So she took this chance and pulled out her baseball bat and ran forward. Before the black-haired male had the chance to glance behind, (f/n) had already swung the baseball behind and hit his legs at full force. going straight to the injury. Now again it might seem that a gun is more suitable to handle such dangerous situations but she refused to carry such deadly weapon. considering that villains are also humans who were unfortunately misled in their life.

Dabi lost his balance, he winced in pain as his back smashed with the hard concrete, and before he could react, (f/n) had quickly put the use of her martial arts talent and held both his hand in a lock above his head, making sure their skin collided to cancel his quirk. Her knees keeping both of his injured legs in one place, while she was on top of him. her chest heaving up and down, slightly panting.

Unbeknown to her, the blue orbs underneath his black glasses widened in surprise in recognition of the (e/c) orbs filled with determination underneath those furrowed eyebrows, and the messy (h/c) hair that failed to embrace any other look then a bedhead. How could he not remember the features he once admired, the girl who kept him from self-destruction and kept him from sanity for many years. '(y/n)-chan' he thought as many memories with the said girl flashed through his mind, making his once irritated eyes soften.

"I got you now, fire wizard" (f/n) proudly stated with a large grin. It was the same nickname she gave to her old redhead friend. words unconsciously slipped from her mouth at the resemblance he shared with her old friend. of course, anyone in Dabi's situation would be unpleased by the whole ordeal. But the statement made him return the grin. He liked how she hadn't changed much from their younger days.
