Waking up

Bucky's POV

I was waking up to see that I was laying in a hospital bed. I looked over to see Steve leaning against the doorway but no sign of Elisa. I tried to sit up but hissed in pain because my leg hurts.

"How long was I out for?" 

"Two days." Said Steve

"What happened?" 

"You were shot in the leg by a silver bullet. Elisa knew right away on what to do to treat the wound until we got you here." Said Steve

"Where is Elisa?"

"I had to make her of get something to eat. She never left your side since we brought you here. Natasha is with her to make sure she eats. You got yourself one hell of a future mate." Said Steve

"Thank you, Steve."

"I'll have Natasha bring Elisa back in to see you alright. When she seen that you were injured, she didn't let anyone near you or her when she was taking care of you. She growled at Bruce and I." Said Steve

"Wow. She went full protective mate mode then."

"Yep. I'll got check on Elisa while you try to relax." Said Steve

"Thanks punk."

Steve went to get Elisa while I was relaxing reading a book that Elisa got me into on the tablet Bruce gave me. Elisa has been helpful with helping me understand technology. I was almost finished with the one chapter that I was on when I smelled the scent of fresh fallen rain. I looked over to see Elisa standing in the doorway with a gift bag in her hands.

"Hey..." Said Elisa

"Hey doll. What you got there?" 

"Oh something that Pepper and I got you. Bruce said it was okay to give it to you since it can help with your blood sugar." Said Elisa

"It better be those Nutter Butter cookies you had me try when we went to the movies for our second date." 

"As a matter of fact it is. Pepper had me get you three family size packs since you loved them so much." Said Elisa

"How's your sisters doing?" 

"Anya and Sam are getting along great so I won't be surprised if they became mates. Victoria and Bruce are getting along great as well and he even stepped up to be the father of her baby." Said Elisa

"Did they teach you, Russian?" 

"Yes they did as well as French, Romanian, and Italian." Said Elisa

"Wow. That's will come in handy." 

"Bucky, can I tell you something?" Said Elisa

"What is it?" 

"I'm ready for you to claim me as your mate." Said Elisa

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. When you got hurt, my inner wolf took over and went into overdrive to save you. Anya said that it was because that you and I are meant to be mates. The two days you were asleep made me realize that I was ready for your claiming mark." Said Elisa

"Okay. We'll do it after I recover." 

Elisa sat on the edge of the bed by me and curled up next to me. Bruce came in to see how I was to see how Elisa looked. He went to wake her up until I growled at him to back off. Bruce just backed away and went to tell the others that I will make a full recovery soon.
