| Just thought I'd put some 'important' info about this fanfic before we start - |
• This is a novelization / retelling of Paper Mario : The Origami King. Despite this, however, there will be many creative liberties taken in this fanfic and some character interactions and dialogue may be different than what is seen in the game. [ Basically all the dialogue will be different because I don't just want to copy the game ]
• This is also my first fanfic! So please excuse any errors!
• There will be no original characters featured in this. So if completely original characters being in fanfics is something that bothers you, you don't have to worry about that here.
• There will be some name changes, however. This is mainly due to the fact that some characters in the game have very simplistic names. [ i.e. Sea Captain Toad ]
• Also, I will be writing the characters as if they were humanoid rather than being in their normal forms featured in the game. This is mainly because this is how I draw them normally.
• Talking about drawing, all art [That I may or may not do] featured in the fanfic is my own. If you'd like to see more of my TOK fanart, I suggest checking out my Paper Mario tumblr. [ PaperRoyalStar ]
• I also don't have a set schedule for this whole thing yet. So yeah, don't expect consistency in chapter updates.
• And finally, Paper Mario is property of Nintendo / Intelligent Systems. Doubt I really need to say this, but just in case.
