i went back to home to my brother, Alan was sitting in the kitchen drinking water i went to him and hugged him

"are you okay ?" i asked 

"yes sissy, i'm fine i want mom back but i know that she is a better place"

"yes, baby, mom is in a better place she is always watching over us"

"don't worry sissy, i will never let mommy and you down and very soon dad will also come back from the hospital, so o problem" WHOA, i didn't expect him to talk something like this, u know its a very proud moments to see your younger sibling handling things maturely.

"yes, everything will happen as you say' i said and kissed him on his forehead and cheeks

"sissy can i ask you something"

"yes"

"u won't deny it? okay"

"let me think " i said making a thinking face

"no, now tell me what's that"

"i know i'm grown up and all but can i sleep with you today, pleeeaaaaasssseeeeee" i chuckled seeing the baby face he made

"ya, why not"

"yayy" he said getting off the chair and hugging me

"come on lets go to the upstairs, do u want something to eat"

"yes, i'm little hungry"

"okay then go upstairs and i'll bring something for you" i said messing his hairs

he gave me a smile and ran upstairs.,  it felt so nice at the moment, i wish it could last forever, for once after a long time i felt normal, i didn't want to destroy this moment or aura around us 

i took some snacks and went to my room, he was sitting on the bed"hey buddy, here you go" i said passing him the snacks

"eat up i'll go get fresh" i said, as i entered the washroom with my clothes, i saw my reflection in the mirror, my hairs were everywhere, my clothes were very dirty and my face looked pale. i took a quick shower and exit the bathroom

Alan layed there on my bed" come sissy" he said scooping over and giving me some place to sleep

i went to the bed and layed down, Alan wrapped an arm around me and i pulled him closer.

"sissy, you don't have to be worried about me and...." i looked at him thinking he slept bcoz he stopped in the middle of a sentence

"but he was staring at the ceiling' what are you thinking buddy" i asked

"nothing, i was saying that i will never leave your side, no matter what what, i love you" this made my eyes water, i was surely proud to have him.

i woke up in the morning by something stirring up beside me, i opened my eyes and saw Alan was having a nightmare his forehead had a lot of sweat 'Alan wake up, it's just nightmare'i said shaking him but nothing happened

i shake him a little harder, he was scaring me, he shot up in a sitting position and turned to me" what happen Alan?" i asked him bcoz he never got nightmares

"he started sobbing very heavily,i tried calming him down by running my hand up and down his back "nothing will happen, everything will be okay" i said

"promise me u will never abandon me" he said

"i won't, never ever, i'll always be with you' i said and we sat there for like 20 minutes when he pulled away and now he had calmed himself down  

"ok, now lets go freshen up and eat breakfast" i said and he nodded going out of my room

after getting fresh and changing in a new pair of clothes, i came out from my bathroom to find Alan sitting on my bed

"what are you doing here?" 

"waiting for you" he said in a duh tone

"okay" i said and we head downstairs, there sat our grandma drinking some tea i guess

we sat on the table, the food was already there so i put some on Alan's and my plate and we ate in silence

after breakfast i helped Alan at cleaning his room and with his homework, after that i got a call from Tay, i said that i won't be coming for school this whole week bcoz first i don't want to see anyone and i have to take care of Alan, so no school for the week

after that we went to park for some fresh air, i asked Alan that if he want to play in the slides or swings but he denied and sat on the bench next to me, then after being there for an hour i took him for some ice cream bcoz he was thinking a lot of the recent situation.

i was happy that he willingly ate ice cream and then we walked home

"where the hell were you? and where did you take the poor boy?" i was questioned from my grandma as soon we entered the home

i bend down near Alan's ear and said him to go to his room, "no, i will satay with you" he said 

i gave him a stern look that said to better not mess with me so he had no other chance but to go upstairs, while he was walking to the stairs the old lady called out"Alan where are u going baby?" i could here the venom in her voice that she sugarcoated

he looked at me and i nod my head to tell him to go upstairs, the old lady was very furious, after he went to his room i looked at her and said " we went to the park and after that we ate ice cream"

" and whose permission did you take to go out?" she asked 

" you weren't at home so i left a note on the table in the living room where you causally sit" i said and what came next shocked me
