Chapter 2 |Dead or Asleep?|

Alexandra

Karis, Mia's daughter, walked in. "Hey. What do 'ya need?" I had called her, and she was a person to depend on. "If we want to go to the University of Witches, we have to get our parents to like each other. So, that's what we'll do." She would've spit out all the oxygen in her lungs. "So? What do we do?" She sat down. "How about your Mom and my Mom get invited to a party, and they can't leave until they become friends." I winked.
"Hel..Heck no."
"Good job. You'll be never cussing again in no time."
"Sure..."

The "Party" Day

Mia

Karis had told me about a party that her friend was holding. I told her I would go, as long as no witches were there. "Let's go. We're gonna be late." Karis yawned. "Are you sure? You're super tired. Whose party is it again?"
"Um...Um...Jake's! Jake Novoa!"
"My boyfriend's son?"
"Yeah."
She let out a fake laugh. "Let's go."
Karis wasn't a Kanay like me, but she was a normal witch. "Three black birds and a crow, take us where we need to go."
But we weren't at Jax's/Jake's party.

Maddie

"Are you sure? We can ditch it for tonight. And go shopping!" Alex shook her head. I raised an eyebrow. "Okay then." We walked for 2 minutes. "I can't do this alone, make me a transportation app on my phone."
I checked my phone for the app. Transport Yourself. Perfect. I typed in the adress, waiting for a result. I tapped and traveled. "Hey Ja-Mia?!" Me and her traded angry looks.
"No one leaves..."
There was a moment of silence.
Alexa stared at Karis, waiting for her to finish the thought.
"...until you get along."
Karis caught on. "Yeah. No one leaves." Ella joined them.

Ella

My mom also needed to get along with the others. I also wanted to go to the UOW. "You were in on this?!" I nodded, then the kids(me, Karis, and Alexa) left. It would be havoc and shit. But they couldn't leave.

Karis

Me, Ella, and Alex actually had did that to start our friendship. So, we figured that would work.

We all stayed up late without our moms. Ella's dad got mad, but he was used to it. I didn't have a dad, unless my mom married Jax. Alex's dad didn't care one bit. He liked that she was being social.

But that wasn't all.

The Morning
*Everyone slept over somewhere; the moms stayed at the party, and the kids(including Jake, Sophia, Valerie, and Gianna) slept over Alexandra's.*

Mia

I want to kill you, Emma. Maddie, not so much. I thought. It was her. It WAS her. "I'm going to kill you, Emma." They all thought I changed. I lied. "This should do it." I injected her with a spell, allowing her to sleep forever while everyone thinks she is dead. And she can't change it. I've destroyed their leader. Payback.

Yeah, sure, Kanays(2..or more...of us) are starting to get along with witches. But I'm going to kill them, and their leader, for destroying the rest of us kanays.
