The odd trio continued on their way, avoiding guards and solving puzzles.

But of course, they couldn't hide forever.

"Gah! Shit! Shit, it's them!!" Sakamoto yelped. Morgana scoffed. "Tch. Amateur."

They jumped over Sakamoto. "Stay still!" They turned to Akira. "Hey you, you said you could fight, right? Let's go!"

They flipped into the air and landed perfectly. "Come... ZORRO!"

Blue flames erupted around Morgana as their persona, Zorro, appeared. It looked like a musketeer of sorts, with a fancy outfit and a thin sword.

"You've got one of those things, too?!" grumbled Sakamoto in half exasperation and half disbelief.

Morgana crossed their arms. "Hmph. We will promptly shut them up."

The two quickly dealt with the monsters, who Morgana called 'Shadows.'

Morgana explained the Shadows as they fight, including their weaknesses and patterns.

After the fight, Morgana looked at Akira in admiration. "Not bad. Your persona's pretty powerful."

Sakamoto's eyes widened. "Is that the thing that comes out of you all dramatic-like?!"

Morgana grinned. "Yes. You saw how Frizzy-hair here ripped off his mask when he summoned it, right?" They paused as Sakamoto nodded.

"Well, everybody wears a mask deep within their heart. By removing that..." Akira's figure erupted into blue flames, and when they disappeared, he stood in his normal school clothes once more.

"H-he turned back to normal!" Sakamoto gasped.

Morgana observed him. "Hmph, looks like you don't have full control over your power yet. The transformation shouldn't dissolve like that. After all-"

Sakamoto interrupted. "Okay, okay, that's enough of that crap. Let's just get going!"

"Can't you just sit and listen for once, Blondie?!" Morgana screeched.

"My name's not Blondie! It's Ryuji!" Sakamoto, now Ryuji, retorted.

Morgana huffed. "Whatever. However, you were right. We can't sit and talk like this. Let's keep moving."

The trio continued through the dungeon.

-

"Hey, hold on a sec..!" Ryuji stopped. He pointed at a boy in a dungeon cell wearing a dirty gym uniform. "I've seen that uniform before!"

He growled in frustration. "Ugh, dammit! I'm too flustered! I can't remember a damn thing"

Before they could discuss further, however, a guard approached them, and they had no choice but to go on without the boy.

-

They made their way up from the dungeon, fighting Shadows and collecting items.

"Ugh, finally. We're saved!" Ryuji sighed in relief as they emerged from the dark.

He ran up to the door and tried to open it. "Ugh, damn! It's not openin'...! Did ya trick us, you jerk?!" He glared at Morgana.

They glared back. "Don't jump to conclusions! Over here!"

Morgana lead them to a hall through another door.

"How're we supposed to get out from here?!" Ryuji growled angrily. "There aren't any windows!"

Morgana rolled their eyes. "Ugh, amateur... This is the most basic of basics!"

Akira's mouth twitched upwards. "A ventilation shaft?" Morgana grinned.
