A Crow.
A creature so Beautiful.
So Willful
So determined to live.
So adventurous.
So free...
A creature that has not restrictions.
A creature that wouldn't back down without a fight.
A creature that didn't have to stay in a cage.
The blonde haired girl stared Out her window a tear slid down her soft cheek as her eyes held longing. The Black crow flew past her dark room, trying to seek shelter. The girl didn't know why she felt a pang in her chest when seeing the Crow, but she did. She put a hand where her heart is.
'Why do I feel this way? It feels so.... Nostalgic...' The girl thought. She opened her window and called for the Crow, she was always great with animals.
The bird flew Into the room, drenched in water. It landed on her bed before shaking in an attempt to dry off and then cawing, as if saying Thank You. The girl smiled sadly.
"You poor things.... You must be cold..." She said softly as she walked over to her dresser and opened a drawer. "Just let me grab something to warm you up." She added as she grabbed a hair dryer out of it.
"Usually you would sunbathe, but it doesn't look like it's going to stop raining soon." She said as she walked to her bed and plugged in the Hair dryer before sitting down and placing the shivering crow on her lap. After it was dried, it made an attempt to cuddle with the girl.
The girl giggled a bit before petting it on the top of the head softly while caressing it. "Ah, you're a boy aren't you? Hmm, I'll name you.... Though I can't keep you, sorry...." The girl said softly.
The Crow cawed once more, this time it sounded more sad. The girl smiled softly.
"Hmm... How about you come here every day when the sun is at its peak?" The girl suggested. The crow cawed as if agreeing. The girl grinned as she softly giggled. Her giggle sounded very angelic, the Crow felt safe around the girl.
"I'll name you......" She started while thinking of a good name.
"Takeo? It means Warrior.... You've survived this long in a cruel world despite being so small.... I envy that... I envy how determined and strong you are...." The girl said as she laid down and looked up at the ceiling with the Crow on her stomach.
The crow cawed in agreement.
The girl grinned.
"It's settled then! You're Takeo! My name is Yachi Hitoka." The girl said with happiness in her voice. The crow flew to beside her head and got comfortable beside her. The girl just smiled before reaching her hand towards the ceiling.
