Tequilla is not my friend: Part 4

Is everything ok?" you asked worried

"Oh, everything is fine, but we want to run something by."

Ok Hunter starts to tell you that they want you to be a face for the first couple episodes and then you will join forces with someone and you will betray them and start your heel run. You think about it and give Hunter your input and end up coming up with a good storyline for your heel run. After your meeting is over you are up for your debut. You stand at the gorilla feeling the adrenaline run through you. This wasn't your first match, but something felt different and it made you excited and ready for everyone to see the new you. Your music hits. You hear the fans go wild, and they start to chant your name. You make your way through the curtain and down the ramp and slide into the ring. You stand up and run to the ropes, jump on the ropes and do your signature backflip and land in the middle of the ring and wave at all the fans. You are handed a microphone and start to talk.

"It's nice to see that you haven't forgotten about me." The fans keep cheering and your name starts getting chanted through the arena. "I know you are all wondering what I am doing here. I obviously wasn't drafted to Raw or Smackdown and I have been pulling double duty and been fighting all the girls on the main roaster....and of course kicking all of their asses." The fans go crazy when you say that, and they start chanting NXT.

"Being on the main roaster was fun and all, but I think that I needed to go up against some new blood and get away from all that drama up in the main roaster so I am here and I am NXT."

Once you say the last part you drop the mic and the fans are chanting your name and cheering. You are about to get out of the ring when Shayna Baszler's music hit. You stand there and watch her walk down the ramp.

" You know what Isabel, you may be a former champion and be great up in the main roaster, but you are nothing down here, and I am going to show you what a mistake you made coming to NXT, because you are just a washed up, good for nothing "diva"."

"Well hello Shayna I didn't know you knew who I was, but it is so nice to know that you are coming down here trying to intimidate me, but guess what I am not scared of you and I know the only reason you are out here is because you are worried that I will be the next NXT champion and you won't get an opportunity."

You start to walk over to Shayna but instead you throw the mic at her and super kick her in the face. Shayna falls to the floor and you roll out of the ring holding your hands up in the air. Once you are through the curtain you see Hunter waiting for you.

"That was perfect." You wait for Shayna to come through the curtain and walk over to her.

"Dude that was awesome. Did you hear how crazy the fans were going? Sorry I said that stuff about you." Shayna puts her hand out and you both shake hands.

"It's ok I was actually expecting something way worse. Since everything went down with my ex, I had people who I thought were my friends say some pretty mean stuff to me."

"Well I may play a heel on TV. I am not like those people. I will tell you what I plan to say or use before I say it."

"Thank you, I look forward to fighting you in the ring."

"Same" You start to make your way to the locker room to change. Shayna introduces you to some of the girls you haven't met yet. They are all so nice to you and you all start to talk. You get invited to go out with some of the girls after the show. They are all going to a bar to hang out. You want to go but you aren't much of a drinker. As you are gathering your things, Kairi Sane, a longtime friend from Japan comes over and gives you a hug.

"Izzy, you have to come with us. We haven't seen each other in years, and I want to catch up and you can meet my husband." Kairi gives you a sad face and you give in.

"Ok but only for a little bit."

You decide to give Kairi, Io Shirai, and Shotzi a ride to the bar. Since they were all meeting their significant others there. Once you arrive at the bar you walk in and realize that it is a Karaoke bar. You look over at Kairi and shake your head. She just shrugs at you. You find the table where everyone else is sitting. You get handed a shot of tequila.

"No thank you I am the DD."

"Just one shot Izzy." Kairi says. You take the shot and instantly regret it when you feel the burn down your throat. The night goes on and you get to talk to some of the other girls there. You are having a good time and get offered more shots which you refuse politely. Karaoke starts and some of the girls sign up. You decide that this is your chance to slip away before they try to get you to sign up. You walk over to the bar and order water and some cranberry juice. You feel a tap on your shoulder turn around and are face to face with Adam Cole.

"I didn't take you for a drinker. Especially since whenever we would go out in Japan you refused to drink."

"You are actually correct, I am not a drinker still. The girls made me take a shot of tequila and let's just say I almost died with the burn down my throat." Adam laughs and you both start to make your way back to the table. Adam and you talk for the next hour when you hear your name being called from the stage. You turn and look around and see Kairi wave you up on the stage.

"Kairi you didn't." Kairi just smiles "You have to go up there, you sing so beautifully."

You decide to just go with it, you take the mic and tell the person what song you want. You start singing Over you by Daughtry. When you finish singing everyone is clapping you take a bow and go sit back down.

"Kairi was right, you are a really good singer." Adam says to you. You blush and start talking to everyone at the table. Some other people sing and then you all call it a night. Once you get home you change into your pajamas and crawl into bed when you get a text message from a known number.

You decide not to text back and just go to bed.
