Chapter 14: Letting him go

Rhain's Pov

I didn't go to school for two days cause I was thinking about some serious shizz... And I have finally decided a very hard decision, cause I don't know if I could Sacrifice a very important person. but I know this decision is for every body's benefit.

"Since I have packed my thing's the other day... I'm just going to do my morning routine."

I was brushing my hair, when my secretary came...

"Umm... Ms. Rhain? I have something important to discuss with you"

"Okay... just make it quick, Im going to be late for school."

"It's about your arrange marriage..."

"Yes? What about it?" I started listening attentively.

"Well... You will meet with your fiancé tomorrow, you'll have lunch with them."

"So i'll meet this guy tomorrow?!"

"Supposedly, you will be meeting here...dinner, but apparently His parents are not available at night."

"Okay..." i replied dryly

So I went to my car and drive to school...

When I arrived I saw Camille...

"Rhain? How are you? Why didn't you go to school for 2 days?!"

"Ummm... Its nothing don't mind that okay?"

"Okay... if you say so"

"By the way, have you seen Mhay around?"

"No... not yet, but I know she's around"

"How'd you say?"

"Cause I saw her friends near the gym"

"The gym? Why'd they go there?!"

"I don't know, maybe they are waiting for someone"

"Ohhh... is that so, anyways... do we have any projects, activities and etc.?"

"No... we don't have projects..."

(Bell rings)

"Ohh? Is it already time?!"

"Yup! Let's go" we headed to our first class... SOCIAL STUDIES 😂

(Class room)

"Hey? Aren't you searching for Mhay this morning?, There she is!" Camille pointed her finger to Mhay.

"Ohhh... Okay, thanks" I got my phone and started typing.

Lets meet up in the park later 12:45 sharp, I have something important to tell you... and its a bit private so Don't bring your friends along okay?

I saw her checked her phone... after she looked at her phone she looked at me and nodded her head...

It was 12:40, so I headed to the park. I bought some chips... also beverages. I looked for a nice bench to sit. I sat near a pine tree in front of the fountain.

I was thinking deep when I heard Mhay's voice...

"RHAIN?!!" She shouted...

One thing I don't like with Mhay, Its her high tuned voice... even though she grew up in a rich family, she doesn't want to act like a heiress.

"I'm glad you came in time..."

"I always come in time! And Ive never been tardy!! EVER"

"enough with the jokes... this is important, this means a lot to US"

"okay... Ill be serious."

"I'm getting married with a man I don't like, and I haven't met him yet"

"So?..."'

"You know that I love Daniel, right?"

"Ummm... yes, why?"

"And we all know that you also love Daniel, So... I want you to be happy, so I'm letting him go. Im giving his heart to you."

"But... Why? We all know that Daniel still loves you and you also love him. so why? Why'd you lend me his heart when his heart belongs to you. I know that he'll never be happy with me" Mhay's tears started falling...

"I trust you... I know you'll never break his heart and I know he will also learn to love you... now, Im getting married and I don't have the chance to be with Daniel, That's why I'm lending his heart to you..."

"B-but? Ughhh... why things get messed up!"

"Can I trust you with this? Daniel is very important to me... and If you break his heart, ill never ever forgive you..."

"Thank you... thank you for trusting me..." Mhay cried and hugged me

I felt a relief! My problems are all gone. but the scar is still in my heart, I'll still love him even he is with another girl.

Mhay's Pov

Wow...I didn't expect that Rhain will lend me Daniel's heart... I promised her to take care of Daniel... I will never break that promise.

I headed to the court cause Daniel was training. I bought water, food and a towel for him.

"WATER BREAK guys" the coach shouted

"Daniel?!" I called him

"Ohh? Mhay! How are you?"

"I'm fine! Here take this" I gave him the water, food and towel.

"Thanks!" He smiled at me... I cant explain this feeling! Too much happiness! I guess...

He sat beside me...

"BACK TO THE FIELD" the coach shouted again.

(After his training)

"So? How are you..." he asked

"Me? Umm... I'm fine." I feel that he is sad so I held his arms and we both stopped walking.

"Are you okay?" I asked him

"No... and I'll never be..." His tears fell

"Why?" I feel pain in my chest... I cant watch him cry like that.

"I'm getting married with a girl that I haven't met..."

I want to cry but I'm holding my tears...

"What? But... why? How?! When!!?" I asked randomly without thinking...

"My parents set me in a arranged marriage and I cant do anything about it..."

"It's gonna be fine..." I comforted him

"No..."

We split up cause he went back at the shower room.

I went back home.

"How about my promise! They're both going to be married..." I cried.

"Wait..." I started thinking

"What if Daniel and Rhain... no! It cant be!!" I'm throwing all my pillows...

"Why?!! Why!!!" I started my Drama...
