as promised, the tale yet lives on with alice
and joslyn being together shortly after their stunt at the ball, everyone in that batch was given a pass and everyone outsold the older batch by a soaring 100% (A+) on their exams.

despite macy's clear denial and anger issues, she was outmatched by the overwhelming majority of the judges and critics who genuinely adored the alice and joslyn's work of art. of course, the others had their praise, but both ladies won the hearts of the critics, a strong review was held later that night and everyone was to see that said review.

the review was nothing more than just praise from each and every one in that room, it was also held at the grand studio, where it housed legendary artists. but the review leaned towards how artistic this group of remarkable students who showed their talents in the studio.

as their peers cheered for alice and joslyn, they were both very much in shock at how amazed and moved these iconic critics were, it was clear that the standards of this industry needs to be remodeled into a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle/environment; but it also needs more people who aren't afraid of going against the normal and become beyond that.

and knowing they're no longer expected to
collaborate as their extra exam, those two
weeks were supposed to be spent in a party
where the students go out with a bang, instead, they wound up searching for joslyn.

it didn't help knowing she wasn't living with her parents; they despise joslyn for being a lesbian, so it clearly didn't matter now. once they were notified about the whole situation, they merely laughed and asked to never speak about her, ever again.

alice wanted to slap the both of them, but she needed everyone to help her out in finding joslyn, only to find out that... curiousity killed the cat, and joslyn rosé gomez was seen naked, dead and her throat was possibly cut open.

alice drops to her knees, her tears already falling, she didn't know she would've ended up like this; and if she knew, she would've asked her out on a date or something, instead, she's in the streets just crying her heart out.

the other students either vomited out of disgust, as the stench of her dying body was too much to bare but alice didn't care, the girl she silently looked up to was now dead—and she didn't have a chance to tell her how much she loved her.

while the others called for the cops, the rest mourned for their classmate. alice, on the other hand was just shaking from seeing her body like that, an investigation took place and what they found was more than disturbing to even speak in public.

the news aired about joslyn and alice's proud speech, a powerful and moving one that sounded so bittersweet to the ears of the listeners when they heard that joslyn rosé gomez was found dead.

and although the days bled into nights, and those nights turned to days, it didn't sit right for alice, but whatever joslyn was looking for, it must've been a sight that needed to be exposed to the world.

in three weeks time, a funeral was held. joslyn wore satin white, with touches of silver; both represented by light and hope—two things that made her stand out, and two very things that joslyn always stood for. she was a woman of great courage, and her hope and wisdom made her existence known to the world.

she may have lost her chance to achieve her goals in life, but she won, even in death—she died an icon, a strong woman who brought in countless of things into play, and alice was there to watch her influence unfold until the very end.
