New Start

Shawn-

It's been a week since I moved to California. I miss Camille so much and I can't take it.

I can't keep in touch with her because I'm so busy with my new life.

I just hope my career goes good and that Camille knows olive her.

Camille-

I can't live like this. Without Shawn. I can't. I haven't been able to get him off my mind since he left.

I need to find something to focus on to get him off my mind. I need to hang out with friends.

I called Emma and Teagan. Emma was at Crawfords house and Tea was busy at Oboe lessons.

I went down to see if one of the boys wanted to hang with me. As I walked down I saw Hayes and Sophia holding hands.

WHOA WHAT

"uhhhh.. what are you doing touching my sister?" I said to Hayes as I pulled her away from him.

"Camille what are you doing?!" Sophia said.

"UHM what are YOU doing with him?" I said sassily

"Camille calm down, they're dating. Just a couple of young lovebirds" Nash said fluttering his hands to the air.

We all laughed.

"Hey Sophia can I talk to you real quick?" I said

"ugh whatever" she replied.

"Sophia Hayes is a player. He cheats on girls. I like him as a friend but I don't want you to get hurt." I whispered

"Camille Hayes is really sweet to me. He won't cheat on me" she said back to me

"if you really like him... go for it. I'm just warning you okay?"

Sophia smiled "Yas! thanks Camille!" she hugged me and ran off with Hayes.

You can tell they really liked eachother... I just kinda looked at them having fun together... It reminded me of Shawn and I..

Then I felt muscular arms wrap around me.

"You do know that everyone can see the pain in your eyes, and I know how you feel."

I recognized the voice of Cameron.

"yea I know you can see how miserable I am just because I'm not wearing makeup and I look ugly. I know." I said in a quiet voice.

"No Camille you're beautiful without makeup. You're literally drop dead gorgeous.." He said.

His face got red. wait... was he... Was Cam flirting with me..?

From no where I started sobbing and and he hugged me. I cried on his shoulder.

I knew everyone was staring at us but I didn't care at this point.

Cam rubbed my back "Camille it's gonna be alright. We'll get through this together." He said

"I just don't know what to think or say anymore. I just.. Don't get why he had to move there's plenty of performing arts schools in Kansas City that he could've gone to why did he have to go all the way to Cali-"

And out of no where I felt Cams lips on mine.

as we pulled away everyone was staring at us in shock.

I started to cry again and ran up to my room.

Nash-

"Dude wtf was that?! Why would you kiss her in a situation like this?! Can't you see she misses Shawn?!" I yelled at Cam

"I... I'm sorry I really do t know what that was or... or where it even came from she just looked so beautiful. I'm such a bad friend to Shawn how could I do this?" He yelled.

He walked up to Camille's room

Cam-

Camille just looked so perfect there and she was getting worked up and I just... I don't know...

I walked into her room. I saw her still crying.

I sat down beside her on the bed.

"Camille I'm sorry I really don't know where that came from." I said quietly

"Cam it's alright you were just trying to make me feel better" She said wiping her tears away.

"No it's not okay. I even if you and Shawn aren't together anymore it's not okay because I know what you're going through." I said

She looked up at me straight in the eyes and said "You do...?"

"Yes. two years ago I was in a deep relationship with this girl I really liked and she moved away..."

"Why did she move...?" She asked

"Her dad traveled a lot for his job... She said she was gonna come back to this city after 6 months but she never did... She never texted me or called me again... I haven't talked to her since..." I said as I scooted closer to her.

"Cam I'm so sorry.." she said looking back down

"hey it's alright.... let's just go on a walk." I suggested

"okay."

"okay..."

our heads shot towards each other.

"omg TFIOS!! Yasss" I laughed trying to not make it awkward.

She laughed. We walked outside and went on a long walk just talking about random crap and laughing.

She looked so beautiful in the sunlight outside. I can't stand to see her all upset..

Wait... did I like Camille...?
