A Rose's Thron

Chaper one: Last day before christmas break

As I walk through the empty halls of Hogwarts my mind wonders about my family, when I was younger my parents left me I grew up with my parents friends who had their own daughter who was my age who had become my best friend her name was Skyla who to be honest was like my twin. My mind wondered to why they left me with out an explanation when I heard a voice behind me "A bit late for an adventure isn't it Rose?" I rolled my eyes  when he announced me by my middle name before turning around " what do you want Malfoy?" I snapped "ooo not in a good mood are we?" He replied smirking I went to reply back when I heard someone walking towards us, I looked over my shoulder to see Skyla walking towards me and I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding "Mila, there you are come on let's go back to the common room" Skyla said while dragging me along with her. When we got to the common room we saw a few other Slytherin's talking ,we walk over to sit near the fire when Draco started talking "Have you heard that Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban and now is on the hunt for potter?" I rolled my eyes at him " you dumbass, everyone in the whole school knows that" I replied which caused draco to roll his eyes at me "bubs she is right you know, everyone has heard about it already but good try" Skyla said to draco and he smiled at her, Skyla and draco have been dating for 3 months now and they are cute in their own messed up way. I started working on my potions homework when Skyla mention Christmas I suddenly looked up and realized that Christmas break started tomorrow and I haven't packed, I then packed up my homework and said I was heading to bed to the couple. When I got to my shared dorm I started packing before I fell asleep. I woke up 3 hours later covered in tears and sweat my nightmare felt more then a dream it felt as though it was happening, I walked into the common room and sat in front of the dying fire when I noticed a presence next to me I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw Daphne Greengrass sit next to me, Daphne is one of the most stuck up girls in Slytherin along with Pansy Parkinson, it was quiet for awhile before daphne spoke "what are you doing up?" She asked while putting her blonde hair in a messy high ponytail "couldn't sleep" I replied not looking at her "what are you doing up?" I questioned her back "same" she said while shrugging we stayed up abit longer talking about random things and I noticed that Daphne was that bad when she wasn't with pansy. After an hour or so we both decided to head back to bed, i couldn't sleep straight away my mind kept thinking about my dream and what it meant I soon felt my eyelids getting heavier as I slipped into a deep sleep.
