Chapter 4: Hate

Nicholas' POV:

Mike just got to bed. I went downstairs to get some water. As i walked through the livingroom i heard muted snorring. Then i saw Jesse asleep on the couch. "Looks like Lila already left." I said to myself. "I'm the only one up." I got a blanked and tucked Jesse in. After that ,I went to the kitchen, grabbed some water and went to bed too.

Jesse's POV:

I just woke up on the couch. Looks like Lila left last night, while a was asleep. She left without a note or a text message. That was a little weird, but i stopped thinking about it. I really love her and i would give everything for her. I never felt something for someone this stong ever before. She was the best thing that could happen to me. I got up and went to the kitchen and saw Nic on the table eating eggs. "Morning." he said waving with his fork. "I didn't wake you up, did I?" he asked me and i yawned. "Nah it's fine. Did you see Lila leave last night?" I asked. "Nope. I came downstairs and she were already gone and you were asleep, so i put a blaket over you and went to bed myself." He answered, while stiching the fork into his eggs. "Alright, and were is Mike?" I questioned. "Problably still sleeping." He replied shrugging his shoulders. I accepted this answer and made myself a coffee.

No one's POV:

Michel just woke up and blinked a little bit. The sunlight dazzled him. He threw the blanket off of him and went downstairs. No one was home, but Nic left a note on the table for him:

To Mike:
I went to buy some groceries. Jesse went to Lila. I won't be gone for long. I'm bringing cookies for you with me.

Michel smiled a bit and tried to ignore the Jesse and Lila part. He put the note down. After he made himself a coffee, he turned on the TV. After 45 Minutes, he heard the front door opening. "Michel! I'm home!" Nicholas yelled walking in. "Hey Nic! I'm in the livingroom." He answered. The curly head entered the room. "Catch." He threw the cookies towarts his friend. " Thanks, man." Mike answered and placed the cookies on the coffee table. Nic brought the food into the kitchen. Michel followed him and sat on the counter. "What do you want do today? Any plans?" Mike asked, while his friend put the groceries into the fridge. "No, nothing. You?" "Yes, i wanna go to the gym... wanna come with me?" Michel questioned smiling. "Yeah, i haven't been there in a minute." So the boys packed thier stuff and went to the fitness studio. They chatted, while entering the gym. Suddenly, Michel stopped and halted Nic as well. "What?" he asked confused. Mike tuned his head and Nicholas saw, what made Michel stop: There were Lila and Jesse.

Michel's POV:

Jesse and Lila on the trampoline... he teaching her a backflip... like he did to me two years ago... This actually hurt... To learn from the man i loved how to do a backflip was such an amazing moment for me... and it felt so good to spend time just with him alone at the gym... and i remember him being so proud of me... hugging me... and me being happy as well. It just hurts so bad to see him having a even better time with Lila... and him being more proud of her... them hugging and... kissing. My whole body was numb. I just hoped this hell would be over soon.

No one's POV:

Jesse noticed the boys at the door and came over carrying Lila in his arms. "Hey guys! Did you see that? Lila just did her first backflip!" "Yes, good job!" Nic congrated her. Michel stood there still in his thoughts. "Michel? Are you ok?" Jesse asked looking at his friend. A tear ran down Mike's cheek, but he wiped it away fast and stuttered with a shaky voice trying to sound normal "Yes... c-congrats, Lila." "Wanna join us? Do some backflips and stuff?" Jesse asked the boys. "Yes let's do it!" Nic said enthusiastic. "Yeah... i just gonna go to the washroom really quick." Michel said and ran off. "I'll check on him..." Nic said and followed Michel. Jesse wanted to get after them, because he was worried about his best friend, but Lila held Jesse back and gave him a manipulative look. She wanted Jesse for herself. He was HER Jesse. The uncertain boy stayed, but looked at the hallway his friends went to.

Michel's POV:

I needed to get out of there. Fast. Just for a minute to calm down. Just to catch my breath. I felt more tears running down my cheeks. I closed the washroom door and locked it. I leaned against the sink and looked in the mirror. My eyes were red from the tears. I heard a knock on the door. Nic said my name. "Michel, are you ok? Can i come in?" I couldn't answer. I tried, but my throat felt constricted. I just kept sobbing and tried to breath normally. I sat down on the cold tiles of the bathroom. I calmed down after a few minutes and wiped the last tear off my face. Then i unlocked and opened the door. Nic still stood in front of it and looked at me concerned, as i walked out. He hugged me and asked "Do you wanna leave?" I shook my head "It's okay. I need to learn to accept it." I said, trying to seem strong. Nic nodded and we joined the couple on the trampoline.

No one's POV:

"Are you good?" Jesse asked, as soon as Michel came near him. "Yes... my system just isn't that strong currently. Nothing too crazy... It's fine." He just waved it off. "You should get to the hospital tomorrow, because that's definetly not normal." Jesse advised his friend. "We'll see..." Michel smiled as much as he could at this point. "Let's have some fun on the trampoline." He said, trying supplanting his sadness. "Well... Mike can you still do a backflip?" Jesse asked playful. "Of course i can!" Michel laughed, jumped on the trampoline and did a perfect backflip. "Wow! You still got it!" Jesse gave Mike a high five.

They spent a nice afternoon at the gym but Lila watched Jesse spending time with Michel and she got angry. Very angry. He was her Jesse and didn't want to share him at all. She needed to get Jesse away from his friends... Somehow... she needed to get Jesse hate his friends, so she would be the only one in his life.
