For those of you who haven't read The Boy in the Iceberg & The Avatars Return, this is a little intro to our OC's that are in the story
Avatar Na li the Demi Dragon
Na li is Aang's best friend from the Southern Air Temple. She is the only known human daughter of the dragon king, Shrikanya. Shrikanya fathered her so she could save the dragon race by having children with the Avatar. However, she was already chosen by the spirits to be the next Avatar, but because she was half dragon, this choice had to change. Because Raava was already fused with the girl's spirit, she had to split herself in half--something no spirit had ever attempted before--and put half of herself into Na li and half into Aang. Both Avatars have full access to the Avatar State and the Spirit World because of this, and both can bend all four elements. Na li can also turn into a dragon, and has a half dragon form. However, she cannot turn into a full dragon until she masters the Avatar State, and she cannot enter the Avatar State without Aang. When they die, Raava's two halves will rejoin and fuse with the new Avatar. If Aang dies before her, then Na li will lose her connection to the Avatar State, and if Na li dies in the Avatar State, then it will be impossible for the next Avatars to master it.
Phoenix Girl Jenaine
Jenaine is the only known daughter of Phoenix the Firebird, the mother of all spirits, creator of the world, and founder of the Dragon Kingdom. Her "son" is Shrikanya; she created him from a winged lizard and phoenix fire. Jenaine is Kuzon's older sister, but Kuzon is fully human. Jenaine has been friends with Na li and Aang since they were young children. When Aang and Na li ran away, they went to Jey's village, but as it turns out, Sozin's soldiers were already on the hunt for the two Avatars, and Jey helped them escape, losing her father and her brother in the process. Both Jey and Na li were trapped in the iceberg with Aang for 100 years. Jey is in love with Prince Zuko, and goes giddy whenever she's around him. Like Na li, she has a half phoenix form and a full phoenix form, and has amazing Firebending skills because of her mother, but also has a short temper.
