Vampire's Sanity

Jungkook fumbled through his clothes, he was so nervous. Two problems have attacked him at the same time.

The anxiety of not able to find the solution to unknown problem that has abruptly projected itself. And the agony of his pending case. What did he ever do to Somyeon, except then bring a great friend. Looking at his watch he sighed, it's time to go, he pulled himself up and got into his car ready to leave.

"Aren't you late for someone who always shows up on time?" Somyeon chirped to which Jungkook can do nothing but roll his eyes.

"Hello, how are you, would have been nice" Jungkook spoke in distaste.  "Where is Jaehaan? Tell him to hurry up or I am going back."

"He has just gone up to bring us refreshments and the thing he wanted to show to you. By the way what's the rush?" Somyeon smirked.

"Already catching up without me? What's so funny don't hide it from me? " Jaehaan came down the stairs with a tray full of snacks and on his other hand there was a box.

" Nothing Jaehaan, Jungkook seems way to eager to leave. " Somyeon pointed at Jungkook.

"Why what happened Jungkook, you just came?" Jaehaan asked with confusion evident on his face while keeping things on the table.

" Can you tell me what you wanted to show us? Is it something related to the case?"Jungkook sat down clearly unsettled.

"It is something related to the case that's why we have to meet at my house as your people don't know I am involved with you" Jaehaan clarified. "I was catching up on these recent cases and found something unusual and it certainly points out that it is one of your people involved in the case" Jaehaan opened the box and showed it to Jungkook. The box contained the same bracelet that Jungkook just different in design as Jungkook was more powerful than other vampires of  his world.

To say Jungkook was shocked can be an understatement, he can't point out a single vampire who has the ability to betray Jungkook, the king of Vampires.

"What's going on here? What's with the fishy vibe?" Taehyung said as he skipped down the stairs in skin tight jeans and white t-shirt tucked inside his jeans with ruffled hair. 

"Nothing son, where are you going?" Jaehaan quickly closed the box and his it under the table.

" I was just going to grab some burgers from the new cafe that opened down the street. Hi uncle Lee, hey Jungkook" Taehyung smiled at both of his father's guest.

"Hello Taehyung, you are looking so handsome today. Looking forward to bagging some cute girls? " Somyeon said side eyeing Jungkook, knowing very well that Jungkook can't keep his eyes off Taehyung.

"No uncle Lee, just going with my friend Jimin. Would you like to join me?" Taehyung said glancing at Jungkook, who was looking down probably fixated on some thing.

" I am working on a project with your father, maybe sometime later. But you can surely take Jungkook with you, he doesn't really have friends here, and can use some relaxing time. " Somyeon smirked.

Shocked by sudden statement of Somyeon, Jungkook was flustered. Only if He wasn't his friend, today would have been his last day surely.

" Uncle Lee, but I am also working on the project with you, and I also have some other work later" Jungkook spoke through gritted teeth, avoiding eye contact with Taehyung at all costs.

" Jungkook you can take your time off today, Jaehaan and I will surely take care of the rest of the project. " As soon as Somyeon said this, Taehyung jumped forward and grabbed Jungkook by arm. " Don't be boring Jungkook, let's enjoy while you are young, then when you grow old, you can work like them." Somyeon started laughing at Taehyung's statement.

"Go on Jungkook, have fun!!" Somyeon cheered. Jungkook shot daggers at Somyeon while he was being dragged by Taehyung out of door.
