8 Days before the comeback — 2nd of August 2019

The girls were heavily preparing for the comeback, always practicing and making sure everything is perfect until the last bit. Their dance instructor , Hwangsuk , has been very strict on them , also making sure every move is precise and perfect.

While practicing their Choreography with their Dance instructor Hwangsuk , the door suddenly opens. Both the girls and Hwangsuk turn around to see their CEO , Kim Hanhyuck. The girls knew what he was here for : Today is going to be the final decision regarding the comeback. Its going to be decided what type of comeback this is gonna be : Digital Single (1 Song) , Digital Single (2 Songs) , Mini Album (4-8 Songs) , Full Album (10-19Songs).

„Girls , come to my office please , we have to talk." Hanhyuck said strictly to the girls. They immediately went with him and followed their fellow CEO to his generous office. As they sat down on the soft , black chairs , they were shivering in fear and excitement, estimating at least α physical release for the first time.

Hanhyuck sat down and spoke. „As you know , i have called you here today to make the final decision regarding your comeback. We have to get this done quickly , since you have to hop on the plane to your first show with Ariana." Both of them got very excited and happy hearing „your first show with Ariana". But Hanhyuck didnt look as happy. „I am deeply and truly sorry girls , but unfortunately i have to give you α 1-Song-Digital-Single. Its not α Pre-Release for an Album either , its just that. The reason is simply because we cant load the fans and the Public with so much OT2 content already , since there are many Fans who love Mina and want her Back. For now , please understand." Ari and Angi sighed in dissapointment but they didnt let it show. Hanhyuck simply looked at the girls , looking like he had more to say. „Another thing is , since youre α Duo now , we decided to change your name to JEWEL." Hanhyuck bursts out of nowhere. Both of the Girls light up in excitement and hug eachother. They have been wanting to change their Name for Ages now , and JEWEL just seems like the perfect name. „Thank you so much , CEO-nim" Angi said and bowed down along with Ari. „Now , i want you to prepare 3 covers of 3 songs for Arianas Sweetner Tour. You dont have much time , go ahead." The CEO said , making the Girls excited once again

LATER THAT NIGHT

JEWEL was sitting in their own tiny conference room. It wasn't officially labeled as α Group conference room by the JK Buliding , but they use it as one. They used this Room alot before Debuting their song „BOOMBAYAH" as BTG along with Mina. They made all of their decisions there while they ate. They haven't been in this room ever since „FAKE LOVE" Era , which was around one year ago.

The girls sat together and tried to figure out which songs they wanted to cover. They wanted it all on α piece of Paper. Angi thought of categorizing the songs in different groups : Vocal , Dance & Both. Ari agreed to the Idea and noted down the different Groups.

TIME SKIP

After Brainstorming ideas to cover songs , they finally came up with 3 Songs they wanted to cover:

VOCAL : Love to hate me - Blackpink
DANCE : Back Door - Stray Kids
BOTH: Girls - Nature

Now only one thing was missing....
