Chapter 1 | Introduction

For this chapter you won't be needing a certain song on hand but feel free to listen to a Larry Stylinson playlist hahahaha. Anyways this chapter is just introducing the main characters just so you know everything about them but its gonna say things like "He had a huge secret" but that's just so you can understand the gist of the book and its probably already obvious, i mean you are reading a larry fic. Anyways, I hope you like it!

Louis Tomlinson, senior at Mellegan High. Louis seemed to be your typical junior, stressing over college and a decent amount of friends, but there was one thing that, to some close-minded people, didn't fit society's norm of "typical" or "average". Louis had a huge secret that he didn't want to tell anyone. Accept the people that he knows and trusts. Louis has a pretty great friend group.

Niall Horan, junior from Ireland but his parents made him move to the UK because his dad (with whom he doesn't have a great relationship with) found a new, better job. Louis and Niall have been lads since 2nd grade all the way up to where they are now.

Zayn Malik, a junior, has always lived in the UK and has been best friends with Louis since kindergarten all the way through to where they are now.

Then there's Liam Payne. Liam, a junior too, born and raised in the UK and Louis has known since 8th grade.

That's all for Louis, for now. Let's move on to Harry Styles.

Harry looks like a typical junior. Too much homework, too much pressure to impress, but he doesn't have many friends at all. Although Harry seems to fit close minded people's norm of the "typical" or "average" teenager, like Louis, Harry had a huge secret that no one knew a thing about. Only the people that he's closest with know. Harry's always the type of person that doesn't like having to go up to someone and socialize when you literally were forced to get along with your sibling.

Harry's sister, Gemma, is in college but still seems to get all her work done and be Harry's best friend at the same time. Gemma risked it all for him. She had the chance to go to an incredible school that was 6 hours away from Harry but she knew he wouldn't survive two weeks without her so she dodged that chance and decided to go to a university much closer to home.

The reason that Harry doesn't have any out of family friends isn't because he's annoying or weird or because no one likes him. He's genuinely a really likeable person but Harry just doesn't like going up to someone and there being a possible risk of rejection, but one of his goals is to get over that fear one day. Home was an important thing to Harry. Home is where he felt safest. Whenever he had the chance to choose between sleeping at a cousin's house or his own, most of the time he would choose home. Harry and Louis have something alike, but they just don't know it yet.
