The kiss

After richie and Eddie caught up to the other losers Eddie was ready to slap bill for leaving them there but instead he did what he always did,he yelled "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU,THE BOWERS COULD HAVE BEEN AROUND THERE AND KICKED OUR ASS",richie groaned crossing his arms and he looked away,he didn't want to admit it but Eddie was right,stan and bill weren't in any damn reason to leave them on the side of the street like that,bill shot a glare at Eddie and rolled his eyes as he said in a stern tone "it was a joke don't be such babies" he said in his usual stutter,richie looked right at bill and straightened his glasses "what the fuck bill,I thought we were friends,but instead you leave us on the side of the road as a" he finger quoted "joke,yeah. Real fucking funny assholes",Eddie looked at richie,almost admiring him. He'd never seen him stand up for himself like that and Eddie smiled at richie,his cheeks turning rosy red,Richie rode off on his bike and Eddie followed soon after middle fingering the group before riding off to go find richie,Eddie found richie sitting in front of a tree an Eddie sat next to him looking at him "Uhm,you ok rich?" And richie looked back at him with a half smile "I guess" Eddie smiled a half smile at him as eddie's mind raced thinking 'should I tell him,I'm gonna tell him',Eddie blurted out in a tell "RICHIE TOZIER I FUCKING LIKE YOU OK?!" richie looked almost shocked and looked at Eddie intensely,seeing him blush redder then a rose,richie chuckled nervously and replied "I like you too" Eddie replied nervously "really?" Richie said in a sly smirk "hell yeah,who wouldn't love ya Edds?" Eddie replied out of the blue "can I kiss you?" Richie said "What?" Eddie replied to him "Can,can I kiss you?" Richie said in a stutter "y-yeah" eddie kissed richie,richie kissing back,but it only lasted for a few seconds as Eddie said "I should go home,my mom's probably worried.." richie said back,tching "ok! Don't forget that sleepover tomorrow" richie smiled getting up,getting on his bike and riding away,leaving just eddie,alone with his bike and that 200 year old oak tree that had been there since the hamilton's moved uptown.

Eddie smiled to himself as he leaned up against that oak tree,he eventually got up,got on his bike and rode away to his house,he went in the door and his mother walked up to him in a grown "EDDIE WHY DIDNT YOU GIVE ME A KISS ON THE CHEEK BEFORE YOU LEFT!" the frown she had grew more intense and he said back "I'm sorry mom,I was just in a rush.." she said back in a sigh "it's ok,just dont do it again,please... I don't wanna lose you too" eddie hugged his mother and remembered his father's death vividly...everyone in that damned town blamed him for it..except for richie,eddie let go of the grasp and ran to his room calling richie he knew what had to be done.

Eddie called richie "hey rich!,do you wanna maybe be my boyfriend or something" Eddie said in a rushed tone using his shoulder as a phone holder drawing something on a piece of paper,*TW F slur!* Richie said in a tone As if he was eating a bowl of macaroni "but wouldn't the whole town call us faggots?" Eddie said back "but aren't we?" Richie said back "well yeah but we can date,let's just not bring it to the public,ok eddie spaghetti?" Eddie smiled over the phone,he truly did love it when richie called him those dumb fucking nicknames. Eddie said "ok,love you rich" richie said back "love ya too edds,ba-bye" Eddie said in a cartoon like tone "ba-bye".
