chapter one.

A small huff was heard from under the blankets; the rising sun was slowly making its appearance through the window that held curtains swaying softly in the breeze. An alarm was playing a familiar song from the side table. 'Bang Bang Bang' was kinda hard to ignore for the female considering it was loud and quite enjoyable as well.

Y/N sat up and grabbed the phone and stared at it for a second, letting her eyes slowly adjust to the newfound light. It was currently 6:40 am and she'd have to clock in by 7. Cutting Dae-sung off in the middle of his line, she slung her legs over the bed and sighed once more before stretching her limbs out. Touching the cold hardwood flooring, the girl shivered. Y/N walked out of the room causing a furry animal to look up then follow along.

Making my way across the small hallway, heading towards the washroom, a soft object rubs against my leg. I felt a smile paint onto my face, "Good morning,Grizzly". The German Shepard wagged his tail furiously at the mention of his name. Giving him a pat on his head then taking a small detour to the kitchen, I took a small container of chicken and a few veggies cooked together and scooped some of the food into a metal bowl and placed it on the ground. "Okay now shower." While the fluffy animal was preoccupied with the meal, I made my way into the washroom and turned the hot water on.

The hot water loosened the tight back muscles I didn't even notice how cramped they were until it was relieved from the tenseness. Stepping out onto the white bathmat and turning towards the mirror, my finger drew a small sun in the of the glass and a smile on top of the fogged reflection.

Rushing into the cold air conditioned room, I slipped on black cargo pants and a simple white button up that was a bit baggy but was pretty cute for the basic clothing standards for the café. Grabbing my bag after slipping my phone in, Grizzly was already sitting by the door so I hooked the black leash onto it. Tying the Converse that hugged my feet, I turned the lights off and stepped out.

3ᴿᴰ ᴾᴱᴿˢᴼᴺ

The female and her furry companion made their way down the three cases of stairs and out side. A few minutes later, an oh so familiar small bell rung indicating someone walked into  one of the well known dog café's in Seoul. "Hey Y/N" a male voice called out from behind the counters. "Good morning, Wonho" Y/N replied with a smile. She knelt down to let Grizzly play around with the other puppies roaming around the concrete flooring.

"Am I late?" Y/N asked with a slight worried tone. A deep laugh was emitted from the male and Wonho shook his head "No I'm just earlier than usual." Slipping an apron over her head and signing into the computer, her worried tone faded. "That's surprising" she gave the slightly taller male a nudge before attending to the daily duties. Wonho and Y/N chatted for a while and in the meantime their co-workers had made their appearance.

It was quite a busy day surprisingly to Y/N, but nonetheless it was enjoyable. Greeting everyone with a smile and seeing how their day brightens up immediately when a puppy approaches them. A blonde male had made his way to Grizzly who was chewing on a coffee mug plushie. Y/N was protective over all animals but Grizzly and his keeper were like Yin and Yang, peanut butter and jelly, one cannot live without each other ;in her head atleast; so to speak.

Y/N kept close to the two, trying not to be obvious. Sweeping and tidying up the tables, cleaning up after the other animals. All which needed to be done but she stayed in view of her baby. "Am I really that handsome?" A deep voice asked making the female jump. How did that soft human make that sound. Is that scientifically possible? Y/N shook her thoughts away. "what? No. Well I mean yes but no." Mentally face palming, she continued. "I am just a bit protective of my baby." The male nodded, "understandable." He spoke with slight hesitation.

There was a bit awkward silence ~caw caw caw~ until Grizzly walked over to the Y/N, greeting his owner and reviving head pets in return. "My name is Felix" He tried you start conversation so it wasn't so weird. "Y/N" the girl pointed to a small metal pin clipped to the apron. "That's a pretty name" Felix smiled. " Thanks, it was given to me one my birthday" they blinked and stayed quiet until a small smile curved upon Felixs' lips and they started laughing at the corniness. Y/N heard a shout from the counters and she sighed. "Well duty calls." At the same time the males' phone started ringing. "It was lovely to meet you, Ms. Y/N" "Likewise Felix" 

The rest of the day, Y/N had a smile on her face. The freckled boys' smile made her heart flutter. It was like sunshine. Happily attending to the customers, time flew bye quickly. "Bye guys!" The giddy female waved to her coworkers as they left. Wonho was sweeping up dirt and dog hair while she was humming and wiping down the cabinets from the daily spills and such. "So who was mr.make y/ns day one million times better man?" Wonho broke the silence. Y/Ns face turned a soft pink, "His name is Felix and he didn't make my day one million times better." She faced back down continue her task. "I see it in your smile and energy." He placed the broom up and Y/N put the rag down where it belongs. "How's Mochi doing?"She smiled faintly. "Wow way to change the subject" He laughed," But he is doing good, he kinda misses you and you can tell."

"I miss him to, but I wish I wasn't allergic to him. Thank you for taking him in." "Y/N, it's no problem but you don't have to thank me every time we talk about him. Besides, Bomi and Yeoreum love him." Wonho has a smile plastered on his face, he adored Y/N.It was just hard for him to explain it. "Well I'll see you next Monday." The soft female voice broke him from his trance. "oh yeah, bye! Get home safe" Watching her walk out of the building his smile slowly faded.
