It was a warm June morning. You freshened up and went downstairs for breakfast. As you walked through the kitchen, you told Carter Reynolds, your boyfriend for 7 years, good morning. He was making breakfast; Waffles, fruit and of course, orange juice. He was one of the best cookers ever! He carefully cut one of the waffles into a heart. He put the heart shaped waffle on a paper plate along with some fruit. He sat the baby blue plate in front of me with a glass of orange juice.
"Thanks, babe."
"Welcome, cupcake."
"I love you so much it's crazy."
"My love for you is crazier, believe me."
You smiled and he leaned over and gave you a kiss on the cheek. You both chatted to each other about whatever you thought of. Once breakfast was done, Carter wanted to take you to the park. You decided to take Sadie along, your 7 month old dachshund. Sadie had furry blonde, brown, and ginger fur with pretty blue eyes. Sadie was well trained, she would do a lot of things you told her to do. You attached the black and white zebra print leash to Sadie's purple diamond studded collar. You put on a floral dress, white leggings, and light yellow flats. You walked outside with Sadie into the front yard. You let Sadie use the bathroom before you went to the park. Carter got in his white Nissan and started it up. You picked Sadie up and carried her into the car. You sat down and fastened your seatbelt. Carter held your hand the whole ride to the park. Carter seemed a little too happy during the ride, but you ignored it. When you arrived, Carter took you under this beautiful cherry blossom tree. Carter had you sit down on the little bench under the tree. You sat down, and wondered what he was doing. He then got down on one knee, and pulled a box out of his pocket. He opened the box, and a beautiful diamond ring was placed inside.
"Jennifer, I've been waiting to ask you this question for a while now, and I don't even know what I would do without you, so will you marry me?"
You smiled so brightly.
"Yes!"
You hugged Carter and kissed him.
"I love you so much."
"I love you so much too."
