January 1st 2016
Today is the first year, of my adult life. I will being turning eighteen in july and my best friend three months prior to that. My name is kayla, and to daymy best friend Kat and I witnessed the most amazing thing. NASA discovering a planet very similar to earth. We were visting some friends for a New Years Eve party not to far away from Kenedy Space Center they sent us out to buy some soda and well to put it short, I ended up getting us lost but, it was on accident.
Well anways, I got us lost and where did I end up. Right outside the gates of the Kenedy Space Center...

"You got us lost didn't you Kayla?" Kat muttered getting out of the old pick up truck and squinting into the Darkness. Kayla blushed slightly as she turned off the car and got out to meet her best fest friend.
"Oh it's not that bad. I mean we got half a tank of gas we can get back to the party just fine."
"Whatever you say Kayla." She said climbing into the back and standing up in the trunk to get a better look at their surrondings. "I should of drived. You alwyas wind up getting lost" Kat giggled. "Hmm, where are we anyways?"
"I don't know maybe we should have a peek." Kat could hear kayla rattling something not to far away from her.
"What are you doing Kayla?"
"Nothing but, there is a gate here and a building up ahead it couldn't hurt to explore right and who knows maybe we can get some directions, Now you stop being so asian and let's check this place out." Kat wrinkled her nose at the coment and jumped down from the truck.
"I am not being Asian Kay, just careful but look around shouldn't hurt anyone."
"Eeyup." Kayla laughed as she pushed the gate open revealing cement path "It is like they knew we were coming."
"Yeah.." Kat said uneasily.

Kat and I walked right into the space station on complete accident. I was ecstatic, I mean we found the Kenedy Space Station and managed to gt in with out security attacking us, which was pretty good for two senior girls but, Kat was pretty stressed out when she found out just what building it was that we enetered.
She had apanic attack and kept talking about breaking and entering and how we would end up in federal prison and because of her break down we almost did. We were surronded by guards and we tried to explain taht we were lost but I guess some people just didn't under stand that.

"You to do realize you may not enter this area without permession don't you?" A large burly dark skinned man looked down at them through his large black eyes. Next to her Kayla could hear Kat hyperventilating continously murmuring that they were not Russian spies casuing Kayla to tel her friend to calm down because they didn't even look Russian. The man didn't seem amsued by the mulattto and Asian girls talking about russian spies under there breath. " Don't you?"
"Um yes and No." Kayla said staring at him pushing a strand of dark brown hair out of her face.
"What?" His frown deepend
"I mean yes and no."
"How yes and no?"
" Well we n you can't go into the Kenedy SPace Center without permission but, we we didn't know this was the Kenedy Space Center."
"And you expect me to beleive that?"
"Yes."
"Well I don't."
"Dude it is a space center, we are seventeen and she is Asian and we are both black cut us some slack. I admit it I suck with direction, I was supposed to be bringing soda back to a party. We got lost."
"We?" kat squeaked.
"Oh yeah now you decied to stop hyperventialting." Kayla glared at her "Okay I got us lost. ANd we ended up hear. e had no idea where we were so we decided to ask for directions."
"Uh huh. Well I guess I'll just give your party host a call. Number?"
"237-896-5001"
"Okay then."

And when we thought everything would be alright we heard a cry of joy! Kat and I ran out of the security room and into the main hall where a nerdy scientist woman was pointing at a scream laughing her ass off.
She had just found a planet, and it was beautiful. The planet was blue and had water on it and an atmosphere and a sun.
It was almost just like Earth but, diffrent at the same time.
The Planet was named Aurora , The Planet of the Northen Star.
