Eight Years later-
The school year had started once again at Hills Valleys School Of Elements.Yuki and Toby were both patiently waiting for their first prey of the new school year. The Spourtlings. New School kids, They were all between the ages of twelve and Elven and this was their first day of school. Yuki didn't really want to terroize the new kids but they were all so young but, toby wanted to they were finally Three Yearers. They were finally in the bigger age group. They weren't sproutlings or yearlings anymore. When the bell rung a horde of small students ran in. They were all wearing first year uniforms, that looked also identical to all the other uniforms, just each grade level/element wore a diffrent color. Yuki's eyes scanned the crowd trying to pick out the perfect target. Lagging behind the rest of the group was a girl qith atrawberry blond hair wearing a pale blue plaid skirt and a white collared shirt, she a light blue bow tied up in her hair and she seemed absoultly terrfied by her surrondings. Something about her face seemed oddly familar but, he wasn't exactly sure what it was. She was the perfect target, quickly he took out an egg from his pocket ready to throw it when the girl spotted him and stared at him wide eyed.
"Please don't please!" She squeaked. Yuki sighed and put the egg away. He cold hear toby asking him what was wrong.
"I'm sorry, I won't. I am Yuki of Earth and you are?"
"Kalliesto of Water. What grade are you in?"
"I am a thrid yearer."
"Oh. I guess I should of known. Your uniform is a much darker shade of green than the sproutling earth elementals."
"Where are you from?"
"No where near the capital city. I am from a small kingdom on the otehr side of the planet. Ruled by Roland of Water." Kallie apused wincing slightly "My father."
"I see I am from the Shadowlands."
"Shadowlands?"
"I live on the ground."
"The ground?" Kallie stared at him "That must be so dar and scary." Yuki shrugged.
"Not really. It was dark but, it wasn't that bad"
"Oh, okay."
"Hello, I am toby, yuki's brother." Toby walked over to Yuki, they didn't look anything alike. Yuki had dark hair and silver eyes that were calm and shy while Toby's hair was a light blond and his eyes were a soft blue. He was really handsome. "and Whoa, kallie?"
"Brothers and how do you know my name?" Kallie said blushing. "I have to go to class. "Good bye Yuki, goodbye Toby!" Kallie squeaked and ran off to the auditorium for student orintation.
"How do you know Kallisto?"Yuki murmurmed watching her scurry down the hall.
" Remember, in those pictures that little girl who would follow you around? That was her."
"Wait she is from Earth? Like us?"
"Yeah..."
"Intresting."
"Well I have to go to class."
"What class do you have?"
"Advanced Magic."
"Oh.. I have intensive magic with Joesph and Johnathen."
"The identical 'cousins'" Yuki smirked. "Well bye bro. I will see you at the dorm later right?"
"Definatly."

Cadence didn't praticuarly like being a yearling. It was boring, and since only a year ago she was a sproutling the uppeclass men still looked down on her. She had almost no social standing but that didn't stop her from flirting with the upperclassmen in her fire mutilation class. She was one of the prettier girls in school, with pretty dark brown hair, large blue eyes and a smile to die for. What could she say, she was rich. She could have anything but, that didn't make her mean. Did it? No, Cadence wasn't mean. She was bubbly and hyper and loved making friends. Praticaly Male friends though.
"Hi Ember." Cadence gave the unsupetcing red headed boy a small wave and winked. Ember smiled her way but, then turned back to his studies. When the teachers called partners Cadence quickly picked him. Ember was no that one of the hottest guys in school, literaly. He was eighteen and a Top Year, he was built and was one of the best fire fighters in the class but, Cadence was much better in her personal opinion. "Please go easy on me. I am not very good at sports." She pouted.
"Ha, I don't play soft regardless of gender." Ember smirked at her and lunged towards her,his fist bursting into flames as he aimed it towards her face. Quickly she moved out of the way ducking down onto the fighting mat.
"Fire whip!" She shouted a flaming whip materialzing in her hands. She whipped at his legs laughing as he jumped back. She then aimed higher for his chest but this time he managed to grab it pulling her towards him.
"Hey guess what." He whisphered as he pushed her down to her knees then onto her back. "1....2..3. You lose."
Cadence stared at him wide eyed. She never lost. Never. When Ember got off of her she didn't move. She was in complete shock that she lost.

When Elysia bumped into Johnathen that day she was in tears, her care taker had died in a horrible accident and she had just gotten word of it.
"Elysia of Technolgy? Are you okay?"
"Huh?" Elysia said whiping tears from her face as she slowly began to realize who she bumped into. "Count Johnathen!" She bowed. "I am so sorry for bumping into you, and yes. i am fine. How is your Mother, the princess?"
"Fine." Johnathen smiled "Fine. She is just fine." Elysia looked away. He looked so much like his brother Joesph. She dated Joesph breifly last year but her father turned it into something much more than dating. She wanted him to marry him. Neither of them wanted to feel forced in the relationship so they broke it off before their innocent love for each other would not be corrupted.
"What class are you heading to?" Elysia said fixing her metalic silver plaid skirt.
"Intensive magic, you?"
"Reasearch. We will be learning about technology from all over the univerese."
"That is nice."
"Yes."
"Well it was nice to see you Count Johnathen. Tell your bro- I mena cousin, that I said hi."
"Will do."
"Thank you." Elysia murmurmered as she contiued to walk down the hall again. Her black hair falling into her face ass he walked down the corrdior alone.
Alone.
That was who she was.
No parent or gurdian.
She was alone.
And that was all she would ever be.
