Alexanders POV

"Alex. Who is the girl upstairs. I know you told me her name, but who is she?"

I looked up at him from my coffee cup. I could tell he was worried knowing she escaped from Vladislov, but  she was more than that.

There was something about her I just couldnt put my finger on. The way I felt around her. I wanted to protect her from the world. I just wanted her to be safe in my arms.

I got up and studied the food in the fridge to cook something for breakfast. In the back were bags of blood. We dont need to drink blood but it helps me feel better. I have never bit a human. We never drink strait from the sourse. Its just too much to handle.

I could smell her come in the kitched and I stood up strait. She lokked so beautiful. Her face at a red tint, no longer pale like hors before. A black thick layer of eye liner, hugged her gorgous, green eyes.

She looked at me and I looked away blushing. She must have seen me blush because the look in her eyes became softer. But her smile intantly faddd when she seen Jason sitting at the table. He looked up at her and smiled.

"Hey. Im Jason."  She looked back at me in confusion. She knew who he was but didnt know exactly what he was.

"I-isnt t-the dogs name J-Jason?" She sputtered. She looked back at Jason standing up and smiling at her.

"Hi." He said chewing on some bacon. She looked like she was about to faint. I rushed over to her and she looked up at me.  She tried to speak but no words came out.

I guided her to the table and sat helped her sit down.

"Youre a wherewolf?" She finally said.

"Yeah. I am." He sighed.

Her eyes turned from confusion to rage. She stood up quickly, causing the chair to slide backwards.

So what was that little act upstairs huh? Were you trying to get a little bit of this? Were you spying on me?" She yelled. My ears started to ring because you see, my ears are extra sencitive. Jason looked at me backing away in pain. She put her hand on my arm and looked at me in the eyes.

"Im sorry I yelled so loud. I didnt know."

I smiled. "Its okay. I sent him upstairs to look after you while I was gone. He wasnt trying to do anything besides protect you." She turned her head and looked at him with an apologetic expresson.

But she was so sad. Almost broken. Whats was wrong with her?

Jades POV

I couldnt take it anymore. I was hurting everyone around me, even srangers who were trying to help me. I was in hell when Vladislov kidnapped me. But I diserved it. I deserve pain, sadness, hurt. What I didnt deserve was to be alive.

I got up quickly and ran as fast as I could. Tears poured down my cheeks as my lungs started to burn. But before I could get about a mile away, someone grabbed my arm stopping me in my tracks.

Alexander looked deep into my eyes. They turned a dark purple but were filled with worry and confusion. Why is he worried? Its not like he knows me. Or he cares or- loves me. No one has ever loved me. Not even myself.

I thought about what it would be like if he did love me. How free I would feel.

I realized I was still looking deep in his eyes.

He spoke but his lips, those perfect lips, didnt move once. It came out almost a whisper. His voice husky.

"Of course I love you." He smiled and the midnight purple orbs turned to a lighter shade of purple. How does he do that? What does it mean?

I gasped. I tried to speak. No words came out. I was too shocked that he read my thoughts. Spoke in my mind. And said that he loves me. When now that I think of it, I have the same feelings as he does for me.
