Chapter Two
Days, months, years passed by. We are not living in that old but beautiful province. We are now in one of the most magnificent cities in the world. SEOUL.
I am now in my senior year in high school. Yes, now that I am a 16-year old girl maybe I could have something new that will change my life, right?
My first day in my senior year is very refreshing. I breathe the cold air in the bright morning. This is a good day to start my whole year. I really want to cherish each and every beautiful memory I could possibly have.
Now, I am standing on my room as a senior of this school while looking to my ultimate crush; one and only, Jaejoong.
He looked at me while waving and smiling with his beautiful smile. I smiled back at him then went on to my seat.
“Hi, Dara-ssi! How’s your summer?” He said with his beautiful voice.
“It was great! My family and I spent our vacation in Jeju. How about you?”
“Uhmm... Well, my band and I were practicing a lot ‘cause we were planning to join the rock band contest here so we were really busy.”
“Oh really? Wow... That looks fun!”
“Yeah, it is!” He said with his smile again.
“So, what will you...”
“Hey, Jae! You’re girlfriend is here!” Junsu said.
He looked away and waved at his girlfriend.
*Sigh
“He would never look at me like that!” I said with my own thoughts.
“Hey, nice talking to you! See you later!” Jaejoong smiled again but now the smile became more enthusiastically.
“Okay!” I waved goodbye to him.
*Sigh
I slumped on my chair when suddenly Donghae was in front of me.
“Hey! Why the long face, eh?”
I looked at him irritatingly.
“Ya! Stop messing around! Go away!”
“Aigoo~ Okay okay! Just tell me if you can’t bear it okay? I know you’re hurt!” He said smiling sarcastically.
My eyes widen when I heard what he said. What does that mean? Did he know? But.. but how???
“Ya! What are you saying? Wh.. what do you mean?” I said with my lips trembling.
“Oooh! So now, I called you attention eh?”
Donghae laughs his heart out as if he’s just someone who never laughs in his entire life.
“Ya! Stop laughing, will you?”
“You know, you are so random! Hahahaha okay okay!”
I look at him seriously that made him stop at his laughs.
<*coughs> “Okay, seriously, what do you mean?”
“Well, I mean that YOU LIKE JAEJOONG-ssi!”
Okay, now you tell me, am I that obvious that this conceited guy would really know that I like the one and only handsome guy on this planet? Am I? Am I? TELL ME PLEASE!!!
“Now that you are spacing out that means my brilliant mind says that it’s true. And I can see how you look at him every single moment you had. Aigoo~ You’ll never be his girlfriend!”
“Ya! What are you talking about? I don’t like Jaejoong! We’re friends! We’re only friends!” My voice became soft.
“Well, you can say what you want to say but that’s what I see! I hope you just realized it now!”
SILENCE
“And you should realize that he’s not worth your attention. You should just look around somewhere and you can see who’s really into you, you know?”
SILENCE
“And of course, you should know that.. Hey are you even listening?”
Donghae looked at Dara when suddenly his eyes widen with shock.
“Are you crying?”
Dara can’t look at him straightly. She wiped her tears away.
“N..nooo! I’m not crying!” She run outside the classroom and went to the restroom.
She went inside the cubicle and just cried there.
“Why would that guy say that to my face? I already know it! I know it! I know it from the start that Jaejoong will never love me back. I just know it. He didn’t have to say it to my face.”
