YOU HAD A LONG DAY AT work and all you wanted was to come home to your beautiful girlfriend and sleep. But you couldn't. You had to keep working. So when you arrived at your shared apartment, you quickly greeted her with a kiss on the cheek before getting back to work on your computer.
Madelaine didn't have anything to do because she wasn't filming anything today, so she had stayed home watching Netflix. She immediately noticed your state when you walked in. You had countless of things that had to be done before you could finally rest.
At first she didn't want to say anything, but every so often, she would look over at you to see you completely on edge.
"Y/N/N are you alright? You seem a bit stressed" she noted, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. "I'm fine Mads. I just have a lot of work to do" you put your hands over your face, groaning.
"Do you have to do it all now? Aren't you taking any breaks?" She asked. "I can't! I have so much to do" you cried.
"Y/N baby, why don't you take a little break? You need it" she said whilst putting her hands around your waist. "But I have so much to do.. you maybe just a little break" you told yourself. "Yay! Now come on! Let's watch a movie!" She exclaimed at you.
"I'll get snacks!" You announced. "And I will pick out a movie!" She ran into the living room, jumping onto the couch.
You took out some chocolate and some other snacks, when you got a sudden craving for nachos. "Madelaine!" You shouted from the kitchen. "Yeah?" She shouted back. "Do you wanna make nachos?" Asked when she walked in. "Yes!"
"Okay so the first thing we have to do is get some chips" you said and she looked through the cabinets. "Got it!" She informed. "Great' and then we just need some cheese-" you got some cheese out of the fridge. "And some peppers" you finished.
"Let's get to baking!" You squealed.
By now you had completely forgotten about the work you had to do. You could just do it tomorrow. No big deal.
Madelaine had picked out corpse bride. You slouched down next to her, cuddling into her side.
"You're comfy" you commented and she laughed. "So are you" she kisses you on the nose.
"I love you Mads" you said as you felt your eyes closing.
"I love you too Y/N"
