I slammed the door.
Rubbing my eyes more than 10 times and reminding myself to blink, he was still there.

"Hello Mack." Luke said with a smirk. "Close your mouth babe, you'll catch flies."

I immediately shut my mouth.

"L-Luke? But that guy, he said you were dead." I said.

"Didn't your mom ever tell you not to believe everything you hear?"

"Well...yeah I guess so." I said.

"Unless you're blind, you can clearly see that I am alive and well. But no one else knows that but you." He said.

"Go on."

"Someone wants me gone. Someone wants me off this Earth. Someone did try to kill me, but I walked away without a scratch. Everyone thinks my body is in the woods somewhere, and everyone thinks I'm a decaying lifeless body that is no longer a lingering problem in the world."

"So why are you in my room?" I asked.

"I need you to help me find out who tried to kill me. That's when I can know that I'm safe, and that's when I can go back home. Until then, I'm not safe. I think it was a team of people, or maybe just a person. The person(s) drugged me. So I don't remember much."

"Okay, so since you've explained your being alive, can you explain why you were in my dreams every night?"

"Sure. I came into your room every night since the incident. Talking to you while you slept. I watched you sleep. I made sure you were familiar with me before I appeared in flesh." He explained.

"You watched me sleep? How twisted are you?" I asked.

"Eh, only average."

"So, are you going to like...stay in my room?" I continued the questions.

"Well no of course not. I have a place in the woods. I'll be here everyday when you get home from school. And we'll search for clues then."

"Okay, last question. Where did you find me?" I asked.

"I used to go to your school. I was in your maths class. You seem harmless and trustworthy. You don't seem to have too many friends so I won't worry about you telling anyone." He explained.

"Right...okay." I said sliding down the wall to sit on the floor.

I was looking at my shoes when I blinked.

When I looked up, he was gone.

No trace of anything, as if it was a dream.
