Chapter 6

2 weeks. I told Monica my secret 2 weeks ago. She has kept her promise though. She didn't treat me any differently at school. She didn't say anything about me to her little group of friends. I can't tell her how grateful I am for that and her.

Since Monica and I have been hanging out a lot lately, she is always at my house eating my food. She is coming over today after school so that means I have to go buy more gummy bears. I decided on going to the store on my way to school today so we wouldn't have to go this afternoon. Since I was going to the store before school, I had to get up earlier than normal. As I was getting ready I glanced to the direction of my closet. Should I wear my usual nerd clothes? Or should I wear my other clothes? No. I have to wear my regular clothes. It would be so fucking weird if one I came to school and I was a nerd, and the next day I came in my motorcycle and my leather jacket. Yep, no way in hell that's happening.

Before I left my house I decided to check my snapchat, because really I had nothing better to do. But as soon as I did I almost lost my breath. I pressed on Monica's snapchat story and there was a picture of her smoking. (The picture above.) She just looked so... Wow.

Her makeup was perfect and I noticed she must have done something to her hair because it wasn't like it usually was. Today it had some sort of bluish/purple color in it. She was also wearing some sort of colorful skull white T-shirt. It was simple but she was absolutely perfect to me.

After I finished practically drooling over Monica, I decided to take my car to the gas station for the gummy bears. My car was nothing special, it was just a simple black car. My manager got it for me when I moved to keep a "low profile". I think it was made in 2014 or something. Don't get me wrong, I love the car, but if I had a choice I would chose my Harley Davidson motorcycle any day.

Once I got to the gas station, I jumped out of my car and jogged into the store. I guess you could say I was in a hurry because I spent so much time looking at Monica's snapchat. *violently blushes*

Once I got the food and a monster energy drink for me, I was shocked to see Monica. She was wearing that white shirt from her snapchat, some leggings, and some chunky black boots. She looked gorgeous.

I guess she saw me from the corner of her eye because she looked at me and waved me over. I slowly made my way to her and smiled shyly at her. I don't get why I was being like this, I was usually fine around her.

I remember the last time I was really shy around her, it was my first day to school and I was so nervous because she was so beautiful. I still can't believe she would ever come up and talk to me in the first place. I mean, I was just me, Landon Smith. And her, she was the amazing Monica Black.

I probably zoned out again because I was snapped back to reality when she clapped her hands in front of me.

"Hey Landon! What are you doing here so early?" She asked with an eyebrow raised and a smirk on her perfectly pink lips.

"Hey Monica. Since we're hanging out after school today and you always eat my food, I just came here to get more gummy bears and an energy drink because i couldn't sleep for shit last night." I said with a slight chuckle.

"Aww really? That must have sucked, I was out cold by 11:00." She said, laughing as well. All of a sudden her laughter stopped. her eyes went wide. "YOU GOT ME GUMMY BEARS?!?!" She yelled happily.

I flinched when she yelled and then put a finger to my ear to try and stop the ringing.

"Yes, yes I did, M." I said with a smile.

"Oh ma lord. Thank you so much, Lemon!!" She said jumping on my body like a koala would to a tree. I stumbled back a couple feet but quickly regained my balance. I also grabbed her legs so she wouldn't fall. We stayed like this for a while she just laid there, grabbing my shirt. It's quite strange but yet hilarious how much she loved gummy bears.

She then hopped off my body and smiled up at me. She was a few inches shorter than I was and it was adorable. She then strutted over to the cashier, who had seen the whole event that just happened.

I walked behind her because I too, needed to pay for my stuff. I laughed when I noticed what she was buying. On the counter were 3 bags of gummy bears/worms and a pack of cigarettes. She turned her head to me and smiled. "What's so funny?" Asked her.

"You're buying gummy bears for yourself, I'm buying gummy bears for you. I just find it funny." I said still mildly chuckling.

"Well, that just means more food for me then." She exclaimed happily.

Once her and I purchase our items, we were both in our car sand off to school. I guess I won't need the energy drink after all.
