"Doctor!" Shia screams as she approaches the Doctor as he lies on the ground, stunned. "Doctor! Doctor! Doctor... please Kai... please be okay!"
After getting to the Doctor she quickly scans any apparent injuries, only to find no damage on the Doctor himself. "It's a good thing your face mask is built into your helmet. That impact definitely could've killed you without one..."
The Doctor slowly blinks, adjusting his eyes to the suddenly harsh seeming sun, despite a layer of clouds near blocking out the sun.
"The glass is on the inside of your helmet, Doctor. Please do not move."
Shia slowly and carefully lifts the Doctor's head into the air just enough to slide off the helmet. Most of the glass falls to the ground. Shia carefully picks off the glass that lies on the Doctor's face.
"It's kind of a shame that glass didn't manage to cut off some of that hair of yours," Shia says teasingly, wiping her eyes with her sleeve. "...I'm so happy that you're okay Doctor."
She gives his arm a tight squeeze before taking a deep breath and looking around the area. Thankfully, no one seems to be around them other than the girl who was escorting them in the first place.
Shia carefully lifts the Doctor up and supports him on her shoulders. He looks around groggily before slowly coming to his senses.
"He... has long hair," the girl comments, looking at the Doctor's unveiled face.
The Doctor's hair from behind goes down to roughly the middle of his back, in which it hangs loosely. The blonde ends fray out at the sides, clearly untreated by any sort of products. By contrast, the front side of his hair is gelled to the side as to avoid any unnecessary coverage of the eyes.
"Finding the time to cut it has been difficult. Anyways, we need to get somewhere private," Shia adds, readjusting the Doctor on her side. Despite him now seeming more attentive and capable, he seems to be in an untalkative and uncooperative mood.
"Right. Follow me, friends," the girl quickly responds before jogging off back to the apartment they previously stood before.
Shia and The Doctor both jog to keep up, The Doctor noticeably distracted as he runs behind.
The girl stares at the apartment, perplexed.
"We used the fire escape to jump onto the balcony, then the nearby window. How do we get in now?" She mumbles to herself, fiddling with the hammer in her hand as she thinks.
Suddenly, the girl's eyes open wide.
"Please wait here," she asks of the two before dashing off to a neighboring apartment.
The windows on most of the apartments have been shattered, which the girl is preparing to use that fact to her advantage. After taking a few paces backwards, she sprints towards the window and leaps through it, landing with a heavy thud.
"Doctor, how are you feeling?" Shia asks, waving her hand in front of the Doctor's face. His cold blue eyes stay focused on the building in front of them.
"I'm fine," he states in a definitive tone.
Shia looks worryingly at the Doctor before turning to the direction the girl ran off in.
What catches her eye, however, is a glistening item that lays on the ground near the fire escape. Curiously, Shia walks over to it.
Shia retrieves the item and finds that it's a golden locket in the shape of a heart. It has the letter "M" inscribed into it. Unsure of what to do, she walks back to the Doctor.
