"How did everyone sleep last night?", Harry asked. "Florence and I slept perfectly well last night, Michael said to his friend.

Harry smiled at his 25 year old friend and said "That's great to hear, Mick. Did you give Florence the eternity ring last night?" with a wink. Michael smiled back and said "Of course I did, and she loves it!" to him politely before hugging me happily and kissing my lips.

"Glad to see that you two lovebirds slept well last night.", Eamon said as he joined Harry, Michael and I. "You bet I did! His body heat was so warm, Eamon.", the tall guy smiled and said "That's great to hear! You make Michael so happy." to me.

"So, you're the girlfriend of Michael?", Countess Markievicz asked me. I smiled and said "Yeah, I am. He loves me and I love him.", the other woman smiled and said "I'm glad he does." to me.

"I've heard that you and Florence are together with each other.", this was my friend Gabby who spoke up. Michael smiled at my friend and said "Yeah and I love her so much." to her.

Just then, Edward Daly and Sean McDermott woke up. "Good morning, Florence.", both guys said to me. I smiled and said "Good morning to the both of you." to the 25 year old and 33 year old guys.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?", Sean asked me with a twinkle in his gentle blue eyes. I smiled and said "Of course you can, you're my friend." to the average height male.

"Ever since you saved me and the other guys from the British officers, I am thankful for you doing that for me, Florence. I really am! Also, I'm happy that you and Michael are together with each other. I love to see my best friend happy.", Sean explained to me. I smiled and said "Me too, one of my friends thinks you're good looking and fit.", before nodding at Gabby who was talking to Edward Daly and Kathleen.

Just then, we all heard footprints. Thomas MacDonagh narrowed his bluish grey eyes and said "Hope it's not the British officers.", before putting one finger on his rifle. Michael cleared his throat and said "It's just my mum, Thomas. Nothing to worry about." to the 38 year old guy.

Thomas's face softened and said "Oh, in this case. I'll put my rifle down." to my boyfriend.

"Mum, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, her name's Florence. Beautiful, isn't she?", Michael said as he hugged his mother happily and looked at me. "Yeah, she is beautiful! I'm glad you've managed to settle down with a woman! Your Dad would've been so happy.", his mum said happily before turning to look at me.

"My name's Mary Anne. I'm glad that I met my son's girlfriend for the first time. I can see how happy he is to be with you.", Mary Anne said to me and looked at her son before saying "I guess I'll tell your seven siblings about your beautiful girlfriend, Michael." and hugged him in the way that a proud mother would.

"Let me know if you're going to propose to her soon!!", she playfully said and got onto a train set for Cork.

"I will, mum! Hope she says yes to the ring.", Michael replied and placed his hand on my smaller shoulder lovingly.

"I'm glad that you met my mother for the first time, Florence. Looks like she approves of you and I together.", he said to me happily and kissed me lovingly on the lips.

"Did you all see what was happening? I finally met his mother and she approves of me!!", I said to the others excitedly. Michael O'Hanrahan smiled at me platonically and said "I am so happy for yous!", I smiled at the 38 year old guy and said "Me too." to him.

"Looks like his mother likes you a lot!!", this was David Stenzel and Shane Dunleavy who said that. I turned to both twenty two year olds and said "I'm glad she does! She told Michael that she's going to tell his sisters and brothers about me." with a smile.
