I sat crying in one of the dirty old stoles when I heard a soft knock on the stole.
"J-just go aw-away!" I chocked out through my sobs. I heard a sigh come the other side of the door before they knocked again.
"Come on man, I ain't gonna hurt 'cha. Would you please open the door?" A unfamiliar voice asked. I slowly unlocked the stole and sank back against the wall. I felts set of strong arms embrace my shaking form. I looked up to see it was that guy I saw sitting at our table. He had long curly blonde hair on one side and on the other side was neat cornrows. I gotta say he didn't look half bad. I sat crying in his lap until he finally pulled away.
"Who where those guys anyway?" He asked wiping away a few stray tears.
"I-it's nobody I haven't dealt with before" I admitted looking down at my shoes humiliated. I felt his hand move from my cheek to my chin before he pulled up, coming nose to nose with him. I blushed a very deep scarlet and looked to the side.
"Well no one should have to 'deal with that'. Especially someone like you, from what I can tell you seem like a very kindhearted and sweet person" I swear I've never blushed so hard before in my life. I finally turned my head to look at him before letting out a humorless laugh. "I don't even know your name and your complementing me"
He gave a warm, sincere smile before replying. "Eric. My names Eric Slingby"
"Well Mr.Eric Slingby it is a pleasure to meet you. My names Alan Humphries." I said giving him a small smile.
"Alan huh? A pretty name for pretty boy" Ok you know that thing about me never blushing so hard? I take it back. I have never blushed harder than I did in that moment. "I'm a boy. Boys aren't suppose to be cute" I muttered looking away. He gave half hearted laugh before helping me up off the dirty floors. "Well I can't help how you look" he replied smiling softly. I gave a small snort before giving him a friendly shove. We both laughed and exited the bathroom. I guess today wasn't SO bad. I mean, I did make a new friend.
