MAINTAINING A large enough distance between them and the boy minding his business on the trip back to Doc's place, Donna turned over to her friend who still had a smile on her face regardless of this feeling wrong. "I'm surprised you didn't catch him at all, Donna. Your house is just a few blocks from here isn't it?" Lorraine caught on as they approached closer to the Brown mansion.

"You know how oblivious I can be," She lied , wishing that such acts weren't coming to her as naturally as they had been these days. Only proving her point that Marty was a bad influence. Watching the man of the hour opening up the door of the garage just up ahead caused Lorraine to stop in her tracks to shove the books in her hands into Donna's instead without warning.

Taking the blow she watched her fixing up her hair with a smile over the frantic nature she had fallen into. Stopping once she'd assumed it was done Lorraine then turned over to her friend for moral support as she always did. "How do I look?"

Admitting she was always a sight for sore eyes, she nodded in approval as the brunette took the books back up into her arms. "Lauren Bacall would envy you."

"You watched Spellbound once and suddenly you're craving the romantics of film noir. Not very ladylike," Her friend teased for Donna to laugh over the comment to soon trail behind her leading the way to the very same door Marty had entered into.

Knocking on the door all the girls could make out on the other side was frantic murmurs paired with the loud rush of a sheet. Slowly the door opened for Donna to smile at the sight of the scientist wearing a pair of goggles on his forehead along with a worn-out lab coat to match his personality perfectly.

Peeking herself through to Lorraine at a loss for words, she shoved her friend again for boost of confidence as she attempted to greet the boy standing in an awkward position in front of them. "Hi, Mar. . .Cal— Marty," She finally spoke as Donna leaned up against the door to hope this didn't go on as long as it felt like it already had.

Not knowing what to do in this situation and certainly not expecting for Donna to have come along with her, Marty tried to act as casually as he could. "Uh, how did you know I was here?"

"We followed—"

"Followed my directions on another way to walk over to my house," Donna cut her off to spare her for seeming out of her wits, "We just saw you coming in here and Lorraine wanted to make sure you were alright after everything that happened today."

Cringing over this being brought up, the Doc looks over to him wide-eyed over the dainty girl having brought this up. "Well, uh, thanks." Watching his mother look over to the older man in the room questionably he tried to explain his presence as well. "Oh, this is my Doc— I mean my uncle, Doc. . .Brown."

"Hi," The scientist briefly acknowledged the girls and nodded over to the one in particular who had been making frequent interactions over the course of these past few days, "Nice to see you again, Donna."

"You too, Mr. Brown!" She replied cheerily, Marty smiling over her overly positive nature shining out up until his mother watched her confused over the introduction. Sinking her shoulders she nervously tried to explain herself as quickly as she could. "He came by the school once looking for Marty here, that's all."

Not saying another word over this, Lorraine then drifted over closer to the other side where he was currently at. "Marty, this may seem a little forward, but I was kinda wondering if—" Watching him continuously try to maintain his distance away from her, Donna hoped she wouldn't catch on to this as she nervously tried to speak to him. "I-If you'd ask me to the. . .Enchantment Under the Sea dance on Saturday?"
