"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells." -Dr. Seuss
~ "Well now you do," he says booping her nose. ~ Spencer's POV:
Eden grabbed my hand and pulled me off the wall to lead me toward the sidewalk.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Somewhere quiet," she smiled.
I swear, her smile could probably cure cancer. she's so perfect. and she's my COLLEAGUE.
She pulls me into a park and leads me towards a bench in front of a lake.
"Are we allowed to be here?" I asked nervously.
"Sure," she begins, "we are FBI agents so technically it isn't trespassing. If anything we're catching trespassers. "
I pulled a suspicious-looking face, as she pulled me to sit at the bench. I sat facing the pond with my hands in between my thighs, but all I could do was stare at her.
"Are you gonna keep staring?" she giggled mimicking me from our last case.
God her giggle.
"yeah, " I replied.
She smiled at me, furrowing her brows before turning to the swimming ducks.
"How do ducks sleep?" she asks turning to me.

"That's so cool!" she exclaims turning her body towards me, " what else do you know about ducks?" she beams.
"Well, Ducks don't have any nerves in their feet, that's how they can walk and swim in the cold, and they have excellent vision, and since their eyes are on the sides of their heads, they have a field of vision of almost 340 degrees. They also can fly as high as airplanes and..." I stop myself before I continue rambling.
"Why did you stop?" she asks sadly.
"I ramble too much, " I said looking back to the pond.
"No, you don't, " she replies scooting closer to me.
I look down at my fumbling hands before she takes her palms to either side of my face and makes me look at her,
"I like your rambling, don't doubt yourself. I could listen to you for hours talking about ducks, or star trek, or anything because I like hearing you spew random facts, I like seeing what's in your brain, I like you."
Wait like... like like orrrrr?
"Thank you, " I replied, "you're a really great...
