Last night, the weather was terrible. It rained so hard it was as if it wasn't able to release its accumulated water for quiet a long time. The rumbling thunder and lightnings came in unison that's why I had to close the blinds.
Now it's already 6:15 am at kakatapos ko lang mag yoga. I woke up past 4 and I couldn't sleep again kaya I used my time for my yoga routine. Inabot ko ang hydroflask na nasa gilid ng mat at pinunan ang uhaw na nararamdaman. Then I rolled the mat that I used at nilagay ng maayos kasama ang nakareserbang mga mats.
Nagpahinga ako saglit pagkatapos ay naligo na. Wearing a robe and a towel wrapped on my head ay dumiretso ako sa balcony na nakakabit sa kwarto at umupo sa hammock chair. May nakalagay na cushion kaya komportable ito. This is actually my favorite place mapa umaga man o gabi.
Sumimsim ako sa tsaa habang tinitingnan ang pagsisimula ng araw. Almost 3 years na rin since I moved here in Proscenium. A week after graduation my mama called me to join her for dinner and I was surprised to see my titas, titos and cousins.
When I went here in Manila for college ay napagkasunduan na titira ako kasama nina ate Elena sa nabili nilang unit sa Albany in Fort Bonifacio. I suggested na magboarding house na lang gamit ang pera na naipon ko but they didn't allow me dahil delikado at hindi ko pa gamay ang pasikot sikot sa syudad. Malapit lang din kasi ito sa UP Diliman kung saan kami nagkolehiyo ni Aloysius.
Ate Elena is the eldest daughter of Tita Lucila and Tito Roco and she was the one who guided us while managing her clothing line.
Right after the waiters served our desserts mama handed me a key and a welcome letter. I was eyeing it since my sophomore year in college but couldn't afford to buy a unit. Mama bought it for me as a graduation gift.
I sighed deeply. Pinasadahan ko ng tingin ang langit na nagiging maaliwalas na at inubos na ang tsaa. After cleaning up I started to blow dry my hair and clipped it with a Dior barette. I checked my reflection in the mirror pagkatapos kong maglagay ng powder at lipstick. I sprayed some perfume in my wrist and neck area then grabbed my things and keys before going out.
I'm wearing a black trousers, a white Fendi ruffle neck blouse and pumps. We are allowed to wear different clothes as long as it is follows the clothing etiquette and doesn't violate the management's dress code policy.
I headed out from the elevator at naglakad papunta sa parking lot. I started my car's engine and maneuvered it out of the vicinity. 7:50 am at matraffic na papunta sa opisina. Lunes at maraming mga tao ang papasok sa kani-kanilang mga trabaho.
It was supposed to be a 15 min. drive but it turned 28 dahil sa hina ng usad ng mga sasakyan. I parked my car in an empty parking slot at naglakad na papasok sa building.
Malayo pa lang ay namataan ko na siya. Nang nakalapit na ako ay isinara niya ang dyaryo na binabasa at bumaling sa akin.
"Good morning Ma'am Celeste!"
Ngumiti ako. "Good morning din po Kuya Karding.."
He's been here for a long time now. Last year, the CEO acknowledged him for his hardwork and loyalty. Hindi kompleto ang araw namin kung wala kaming Kuya Karding na babati pagpasok at pag-uwi.
"Kuya Karding, si Magui po ba pumasok na?"
"Naku hindi pa. Baka natraffic iyon papunta dito.. Rush hour pa man din ngayon.." aniya
Tumango ako. Dapat pala tinawagan ko iyon kanina.
I looked at my watch at nagpaalam na papasok na. Tumango siya sabay balik sa pagbabasa. I saw some of my officemates and we exchanged our quick 'hi's' and 'hello's'. Pumasok ako sa elevator at pinindot ang palapag na pupuntahan.
