I shall not utter a fool's fortune
For I too have twirled with fate
Dressed a harlequin
We danced through night
And when dawn broke
Through window skies
We met our eyes
With futile stares
We were lovers in the stars
But the world broke us apart
Alone we were together
As we mourned our existence
But my lips found its poison
And my dagger found its heart
Still I lie at peace
For with our last breaths
We spoke of eternal love
Oh love! We too were fools
Destined for death's embrace
And even love
Can't change our fate
