This was it. It was finally time for Candy to come out of hiding. The decision was made, and Candy had chosen to come out of the woodwork and reintroduce herself to her younger brothers.
This is the story of how it happened...

"Are you sure that's them?" Candy mumbled to MK, eyeing the two eccentric skeletons across the snowy clearing.
"I'm sure! Those two are the only skeletons I know around here. Now pay up!" MK glanced at her, frowning.
"Sheesh, ya don't need to have an attitude about it." She reached in her pocket and pulled out a cinnamon bun, offering it to MK.
The little monster took the treat between his teeth and winked before scurrying off.
Candy looked back across the way and took a deep breath, trying to keep her composure. She then grinned to herself and stepped out of the trees in which she was hiding.
"I haven't seen Frisk in weeks, bro. I betcha she's almost to the barrier by now," the shorter skeleton said to the taller one.
"Good for her! Nyeh heh heh!" the taller skeleton replied.
It was then that they noticed Candy walking towards them.
"A...skeleton?" the shorter skelly muttered under his breath.
"A skeleton!" the taller one echoed, beaming at her.
"Hey. You two are Sans and Papyrus, right? I've been looking for you for the longest time." Candy looked both of them over, raising an eyebrow.
"Who's askin'?" the short skeleton almost snarled, seeming to be suddenly on edge.
"Oh, Sans! Stop being so grouchy!" The tall one glanced at her again, extending his hand. "Yes, I am Papyrus, and this is Sans. He's my cool brother! Not cooler than me, of course."
Candy accepted his gloved hand and gave it a firm shake. "It's unbelievable that I'm meeting you again, after all these years." She withdrew her grip.
The brothers simply stared at her expectantly.
"Oh! My name is Candy. I'm sorry, I just...well, you two aren't exactly like I imagined you to be." She paused, brushing her purple hair from her eye.
"We've never seen another skeleton!" Papyrus stated. "We thought we were the last ones! It's a pleasure to meet you."
Sans was strangely quiet, almost squinting at her. Then he piped up, "Whaddaya mean 'After all these years'? I think I'd remember another skeleton if I met her. Who are you?"
"Don't freak out, but...I'm your sister." Candy smirked.
"We don't have a sister. What stunt are ya trying to pull, pal?" Sans stepped forward, scowling.
"Stunt?" She softly laughed, looking him in the eyes. "This isn't a trick or something. I ran away after the war ended, and I raised myself. It was during the night, so Dad had no chance of finding me. Mom had passed away by then."((I'll update this when I can! 😁
