"A lipstick? Hardly the occassion to carry one around," said a now confused Jack who stood with both the arms crossed over his chest."No,I mean...I do know that i'm not in the Paris fashion week now, but utterly dumb of you to underestimate my lipstick by assuming that they serve only one purpose, pfft," I dropped in an unnecessery sarcastic comment.
"Cut the crap,Amy and did you not demand me to pay full attention to something you had to say earlier? Go on now for I'm all ears," said Jack.
"Yeah,so speaking of this lipstick right here-," I took the lipstick in my hand and started demonstrating.
"Is this supposed to be a lawyer thing for how many times should i remind you to cut to the chase already and not talk so damn much?," asked a mad Jack.
Oh Boy,You seriously need a chill pill now...
"I know what I am doing so you better shut your nasty mouth before i consider tieing both your legs up and tossing you infront of those wolves to feast on," I screamed louder,my patience running thin now.
Oopsie,Did I lose it a little too much now, given the seriousness of the situation?! I doubted in regret.
The auditory sensation to reach us next were from the ones marching towards us in unison.
"What have you done now,Amy? You know we are dead meat if they find us out," He said, jumping into a conclusion already.
"I got a plan and you seriously need to calm down now," I said and digged the other pocket of my collutes to pull out yet another lipstick this time. I handed over the new found lipstick to Jack, which was draped in a rich rose-gold metalic cover.
"What the hell? You got a whole cosmetic shop right there in your pocket or what?!," asked a confused Jack.
"Did you not ask me to cut the crap and focus on the goal just five mintues ago,Mister? i would highly appreciate if you follow that yourself now," I said, irritated.
"I want you to listen carefully, the one with the rose-gold metalic cover is a pepper spray in disguise and the one I would be handling with is the mega-pistol,Got It?," I asked.
"And also...," I continued saying as I managed to pull out a fully-loaded gun from the pretty black stileto I was wearing, leaving poor Jack in complete awe."Wow,I'm in complete shock right now but isn't this a little too odd for something a regular lawyer would be carrying around?!," questioned Jack.
Hate to admit but he got a valid point there...
"Bold of you to assume I am a regular lawyer then," I pestered.
"Sure you ain't joking and all those are real gadgets now?," He asked, dumbfounded.
"Hmm,why dont you try the pepper spray on yourself,Jack?!," I said with a devilish grin which might've been the actual reason that stopped him from doing so.
We are so alike in trust issues,Jack...
"Okey,Okey i trust you, but dont you reckon it would be more appropriate if I use the pistol instead, given that I am the man here?," He asked, geniuenly confused.
And just like a cherry on top,you really had to ruin it with that sexist remark of yours.Didn't you?!
"Oh,so shooting skills are evaluated on ones gender now? Too bad I remained unaware of that all these years," I said, changing the tone of my voice.
"I apologise for how sexist I accidently made that sound-," said Jack for Denva and team had already entered the room leaving him mid-sentenced.
"What are you waiting for now?Christhmas?!,' I asked,Irritated.
"Get up right now Jack!!," I ordered out loud even before Denva had the prospect to come get us by himself.
