Chapter 2

PURSUING THE ICE PRINCE

Xiao Zhan, "Lay? You know this Ice prince?"

Lay Zhang, "Yes, we attend the same dance class," He glanced at the bug, which is still in Xiao Zhan's grip, and asked, "What are you doing?"

Xiao Zhan looked at the bug, he scratched his nape, "Well... I was trying to scare him with a bug," He moved the bug closer to the other.

Lay flinched for a bit. "Um... why?"

Xiao Zhan, "You're afraid of bugs too?"

Lay pushed his friend's hand away, disgusted by the bug, "Who wouldn't be?"

Xiao Zhan blinked. He faced the random guy at his side and placed the bug in front of his face, "You scared of bug too?"

The stranger moved away and nodded like crazy.

Xiao Zhan blinked again and tossed the bug casually, then dusted off his hands as though he just achieved something great.

Lay Zhang, "Yibo, it's okay, there's no bug now..."

Wang Yibo cleared his throat and stood straight as if he didn't run around the lunchroom because of a lunatic that chased him with a bug earlier.

Lay sighed and glanced at his other friend, who is still dusting off his hands. "What do you want from this guy?"

Xiao Zhan's expression shifted into a serious one and stared straight at his friend's eye, making the other concerned, assuming that this silly Ice Prince did something foolish again.

Suddenly, Xiao Zhan grinned. Bunny teeth are obvious, "I'm trying to pursue the Ice prince!" he declared, feeling proud.

Lay Zhang, "Pursue?" he looked his cold friend who is giving the oblivious rabbit a deathly glare. He laughed awkwardly, "Haha, Yibo, let's eat now..." he grabbed his friend's hand, trying to drag him away, or else his other lunatic friend won't be able to see the sun tomorrow.

Xiao Zhan grabbed Lay's hand that is holding Yibo's, "Hey! Don't touch my future boyfriend!"

Wang Yibo glared at the lunatic, "Boyfriend my ass!"

Xiao Zhan looked at his 'future boyfriend' and wrapped his hand around his shoulders. "What? Is you ass itching?"

Wang Yibo shrugged his shoulders, "Outrageous!" He held Lay on the hand and walked away, leaving the shameless lunatic alone.

Xiao Zhan clicked his tongue and just walked towards his friends. He can't just follow that Ice prince around, can he?

Zhiguang who has been laughing for almost twenty minutes, he said, "What was that? HAHAH! I told you to ask him if you can be his boyfriend. Why did you.. HAHAHAH! Chase him with a bug?! HAHAHA!"

Xiao Zhan sat on the chair, frowning. This friend of his' can be so annoying sometimes.. no.. always annoying.

Wu Jiacheng leaned back at the wall behind him, "He didn't say yes, did he?"

Xiao Zhan placed his chin on his hand. "Come on, it's not that he is into men or something."

Zhiguang suddenly turned serious and leaned closer to his friends. He whispered, "There's a rumor running around the campus that the Ice Prince is gay."

Xiao Zhan lifted his chin in surprise, "That's impossible.."

Wu Jiacheng leaned closer, seeing that the matters are getting more interesting. "Now that you mentioned it, it does seem like he's into men. He only lets his guy friends touch him and he only smiles around his friends."

Xiao Zhan leaned even closer as though he will say something that no one should know, "Let's make a bet. If I can make him say yes in a month, you will buy me a car."

Wu Jiacheng, "Deal!"

Zhiguang stood up, "Okay, let's go. We might get late to our afternoon class"

Both of his friends also stood up and began walking.

(Xiao Zhan's POV)

I flopped on my bed, lazily taking off my shoes using my feet. I'm so tired! There's a lot of things that happened in just a day. Who would have thought that I will be pursuing that Ice prince? Speaking of pursuing, I need to make a plan, at least I have to make him say yes.

I immediately stood up and sat on my chair. I took out a pen and notebook from the drawer. What should I do first? How do I make that Ice prince fall for me? I have no clue!

Okay! Let's do it like this. This notebook will me my journal or maybe a guide? I don't know. Anyway, I will write my journey and my plan of pursuing the Ice prince.

I wrote something on the cover of the notebook and slammed the pen on the table. My plan will definitely work! I stood up and flopped on my bed again. Good luck for tomorrow!
