"Father, explain in details, why did you do that to my driver?"

She said as soon as she saw him, having breakfast in the garden

"Where's your manners?"

He said calmly, while drinking his tea

"Sit and take a bite"

"I don't trust you anymore dad"

She said as she sat on the chair which is opposite her father

"I didn't hurt you, did i?"

"You didn't hurt me, dad, not yet"

"I'm not gonna hurt my daughter"

Her anger was growing as she saw her father so calm, and playing innocent

"I don't care about that for now, heal Donghyuck"

"Don't care about him too then"

He said and took a bite from the breakfast what was placed on the table infront of them both

"This is good, try it"

"I'm afraid of eating your food, it may be another potion of yours"

She said sarcastically

"You want me to heal that vampire, while you're mannerless"

"Should i apologise then?"

He nodded

"If i'm going to apologise, then you apologise to Donhyuck too"

And for the first time in a while, he stared at her eyes with anger
She was taken aback

"You're being cheesy, is that because of your brother who cherished you a lot?"

"Don't bring my brother whenever i behave bad, it's your fault, not anyone else"

"The only fault i did is having you both"

She laughed sarcastically at what he said

"If it weren't to Renjun, you wouldn't be a duke until not"

She knew that she was playing with fire, and maybe it was even stronger than fire. But she didn't stop, not until he stood and grabbed her neck harshly

"Pardon her behaviour, duke, please leave her neck"

Both Lilith and her father looked at him, and it was Jaemin
He grabbed the hand of her father and pushed it away

"This neck is mine, duke"

The father looked surprised and speechless at the same time.

"You were lucky cause the prince of vampires chose you, and you're lucky once again cause he protects you"

"Duke, you are mistaken here, you were the one who gave me his daughter, i didn't choose her freely"

Once again, the father is speechless
He peeked at his daughter to realize that she was sobbing softly

"You shouldn't have done this, duke. Not without her permission"

"That's not what i came to talk about"

She said with teary eyes of hers

"Heal Donghyuck, and apologies"

"You have a death wish, don't you?"

As the father was going to hurt his daughter again, Jaemin stood between them quickly

"What did you do to Hyuck, Duke?"

"He gave him a potion that weakened him"

She said from behind

"You're so at fault, Duke, you better heal him"

"Are you both mistaken of what kind of magic that i have?"

"If it were a black magic, I'm sure you'll regret it later"
