Eighteen year old Billy put a bit of copper chloride in a small fire made in his science classroom.

He stumbled back in amazement, watching as the fire sparked up, becoming blue, that making a smile rise on his face.

"Wonderful job, Billy! Who knew you'd learn so quick?" Mr Jackson exclaimed proudly as he walked into the classroom, setting down some science equipment on a desk closest to the doorway.

"Thank you, sir." Billy responded kindly, cranking a knob so that the fire dimmed down, eventually turning off.

He'd set his goggles down "Do you need help with that stuff?" He'd ask in slight concern, gesturing to the equipment sprawled out on the desk.

"No, but thank you. You just store what you used away and you can go home if you'd like." Mr Jackson would reply, letting out a groan as he lifted a microscope.

"It really wouldn't be any trouble, sir." Billy would smile as he got ahold of two microscopes, following Mr Jackson to store them in the closet.

He quickly stored them on the shelf, going back and forth with Mr Jackson until everything was stored away.

"Thank you for your help, Billy." Mr Jackson would say as he locked the closet shut.

"It's no problem at all." Billy would reply, slinging his backpack over his shoulder as he walked to the door "I'll see you tomorrow, sir!" He'd call out.

Mr Jackson waved to him as he left the room, shutting the door behind him.

Right as Billy went to turn around, he came face to face with Jessica, that making his heart flutter.

"Oh- hey Billy~" Jessica would speak up in a lustrous tone.

"H-Hey Jess." Billy would reply, getting flustered.

"Oh- I'm sorry baby, but as much as I'd love to be with you right now, I have somewhere to be." She'd pout, over-exaggerating her sad expression.

Billy hesitated to speak, but before he could, Jessica was already pushing by him.
