I stomp my way through the entire hotel until I finally make it outside. Aerin follows behind, shortly, "Jay, what the hell?" I ignore her remarks and make my way to the car. The time is currently 12:56 a.m and was a waste of time. "JAY!"
I turned around to see Aerin had stopped in her tracks. She was about six feet away from me. You could see the anger and the hatred flowing in my eyes. I tried my damn hardest to calm myself while I spoke, "What?" I slightly growled.
"I know you were trying to stand up for me and all, but walking out was wrong."
"Wrong? WRONG? What was wrong was Little Timmy saying shit to you!"
Aerin's stare softens, "I know, but--"
"No, you don't fucking know! You were literally sitting there, taking all of his shit when I specifically told you not to take shit from anyone. When are you going to learn that--"
A rustle in the distance was heard. I stopped what I was saying, and I looked to where I heard it. Aerin turned in the same direction. I am already fed up with everyone's shit. The last thing I need is a damn stalker. "Ok. Who the fuck is there? I don't need no stalker shit right now."
"Ok, princess," Jeffrey comes from behind another car with his hands up, "you caught me." He slowly starts walking closer while putting his hands down. "Just stay where you are before you get your ass kicked," I warn in a stern tone.
"Feisty, I like it."
"What do you and your brother want?"
Jeffrey stops and stares at me. "Heh, how'd you know my brother was here?" He questions with a slight grin. I look next to where Jeffrey was hiding, and point, "I can see the tail of his coat sticking out from the side of the car." Liu gets up from his spot and scratches the back of his neck. "Ok, you got me too." He chuckles. Aerin chuckles as well.
Jeffrey turns back and looks at my face. His posture is very slouchy and dull. His back is arched a bit, but not too much. Overall, he seems tired. But that doesn't stop him from being cocky and confident. "To answer your question, we're allowed to be here, doll."
"What do you want?"
"No trouble. No trouble at all. I just want to get to know YOU."
Jeffrey pulls a knife out and points it at me. He has a smug look dancing on his face. I question myself for a moment before looking at Liu. "I am assuming you wish to know more about Aerin?" He only nods his head and smiles. I believe Aerin smiled too. Jeffrey looks confused. "You don't care?" I open my car door and give the two boys a smile.
"No, I don't care."
"Why are you going through with this so easily? Don't you know who the fuck I am?"
I slam my door, causing the others to jump. I walk over to Jeffrey, standing straight up, assuming to exert dominance, and looking him directly in the eyes. "You are Jeff The Fucking Killer, and I'm intrigued." He gives me a cocky look and gently places his hands on my hips. I slightly jump in surprise from the physical contact. "Intrigued, aye?" His face comes closer to my own, and he sports that fake smile of his. I growl and tear his hands away from me.
"Yes, intrigued, and intrigued only. That was not an invitation." I look towards Aerin and see she and Liu are speaking with each other. Damn, they were not looking, I think to myself. Jeffrey seems to notice, as well. "See, they're not looking. They'll never know." Jeffrey gently whispers in my ear while sliding his hand down my side.
I bring my hands up to his chest and gently clutch his shirt. I can tell he is smirking. I can tell he is enjoying this by grabbing my waist and pulling me closer. I subconsciously bury my head into his chest. I feel him slightly tense up by my action.
I do not know what was coming to me, but what I was doing felt... nice. It felt good. The warmth of someone else made me feel like everything was gonna be alright. But, I had to snap back to reality.
I push him away. He stumbles back a bit, with a look of shock flashing through his face. I sport an annoyed look. Aerin and Liu look over at us. "Listen, just tell me what you want. I'm tired and want to get home. I already have to drop the blondie over there home first." Aerin gasps.
"Hey!"
"I said I wanted to get to know you."
Jeffrey clarifies. I cross my arms, "And how would YOU want to get to know me?" Jeffrey snickers and walks over to my car. He opens the passenger door, but before he can get inside, I stop him. "What do you think you're doing?" Jeffrey turns back around and proceeds to smile at me, even though he already has a permanent one, "I talked with Mr. Anger Management in there, and he doesn't give two shits. So guess what doll? I'm coming home with you tonight."
Time seemed to fucking stop when I heard those words. Hell, even Aerin stopped talking when she heard that. "Wait, what?" Aerin stuttered. Jeffrey looked at the blonde headed girl with a glare, "I'm not going home with you, idiot. Liu is." Aerin looks at Liu, who is to her left. Liu chuckles, "Surprise?" Aerin looks back at me with a look that means I should step in.
"Look," I say to Jeffrey, "I do not take men home at the first meeting, alright? Neither does Aerin." Liu gives Aerin and me a suspicious glance. "What do you think we're gonna do?" Jeffrey snickers, "I dunno, man, but I like the sound of it so far."
"Aerin, go sit in the car."
"What?"
I glared my eyes at her, "Just go sit in the damn car and wait." She just nods her head and proceeds into the vehicle. I walk over to Jeffrey, push him away from my car, and slam the passenger door shut. "What the fuck do you want?" I stand my grounds. "Just to let my own voice be heard, I actually do not want anything to do with this." I hear Liu mumble against his scarf. I turn around and face him with a sharp stare, "Then fucking go." I hiss. He nods gently and makes his way back into the hotel.
I turn my attention towards Jeffrey, "What the fuck makes you think I would allow you to stay with me?" He grins more than he ever could and grabs me by the collar of my shirt. He leans into my ear and whispers, "Because your friend's life is on the line, babe. And if I do not get what I fucking want, I will end hers." My breathing comes to a stop. I already have to protect her from so much. How much more can it take?
"You wouldn't dare put the finger on her, not with your own life at stake." I slightly stammer with my words. I hear him chuckle and feel his heavy breathing in my ear, "Oh, but I would. There is a loophole I could always use. I just gotta get her to make the first hit, and down she goes."
The loopholes, of course. Jeffrey could easily make her upset and lose remote control of herself. If she hits him first, he has the right to kill her. It's the rules. "So, darlin', do we have an understanding?" I hastily nod my head. "Good girl." He chimes and bites down on my neck. I shriek and knee him in the stomach.
My breathing slowly starts coming back to normal, as we both lay on the ground. I have the energy to stand up, and I do so. I see Jeffrey slowly getting up as well. I decide to open the passenger door and look at Jeffrey. He's eyeing me down like a hawk to its prey. And with that, I say, "Get the fuck inside."
